Nothing major, just sticking to the grass and fields, but just a reminder of what's to come. First time this season for flurries.

I give this a thumbs-up. I'm pretty excited for it to finally be ski season again.

No regrets Don, it just wasn't for us to live there. I still get excited about trips back, like this Friday!!

Joe: Just wondering considering how often you go, wouldn't it have been less expensive to stay in Vegas and commute to Wisconsin? (Still trying to put something together for next month.)

Vegas is great for 4-5 nights, 5-7 times per year, but I'd never live there again. Lets just let go at that.

The snow made it down to my neck of the woods and we probably have 1/2 inch of snow. It's too early for the first measurable snowfall of the year, but it looks pretty.

Enjoy your trip, this will be long gone by the time you get back.

We may get a few flurries tomorrow also

Mid 50's today ,sunny, played golf.Did AC yesterday afternoon and evening. Golden Nuggett.
What a joke, had a big lunch so just wanted an appy around 6:30 at happy hour .
Looked at the bar in the Chart House(very good sliders),packed,no seats.
Went into Vic and Anthonys ,plenty of room. That should have been my first clue,I ordered shrimp and steak skewers ,about 6 or 7 bucks.
They came out ,2 skewers, each had one shrimp and one small bite of steak.
    What a rip-off.

Imagine my surprise when our forecast has a 20% chance of snow tomorrow evening. That's pretty dang early for central NC. It's almost too early for the NC mountains. But I love it - I like living in NC but I'd like a little less August and a couple more weeks of winter:thumbsup:

Got a little over an inch here in southern Minnesota. The temps plunged down into the lower teens tonight....brrrr. Still have to change the oil in my snowblower.

We're having that crappish, wet, sort of snowy, weather today in NYC. Plus the train I use has had problems since yesterday, so it'll be delayed and crowded.

Good thing I have Vegas related podcasts to listen to!

NE Ohio got it last night, and not just the snow belt. Everybody. I like to XC ski, but the ground won't be cold enough for that for another month. This snow is useless.

I'm with you. It's pretty looking out the plane's window or viewing on the distant mountains, but I'd just as soon never have to shovel it, walk through it, or drive in it ever again.
