Pretty much sure it is what you posted.

For every 250 points you earn during that time, you can get a scratch off card. I would guess most of the winners are small stuff. I did not see details, but they run things similar to this at Gold Strike. Lots of $5 freeplay, free buffet, etc there. Maybe the NYNY one is just the big prize. Who knows.

Prob about the same offers as their million dollar giveaway promo they ran this summer. Mostly all $5 free plays...

I got the same offers under Excalibur and Luxor. As I'm staying at NY NY, that should work pretty good. It sounds like it is just what it says it is. You don't need to be staying there. The points can be earned at any of the 4 locations. You don't have to have had the offer sent to you to participate - anyone can participate.

Bring on that $10,000 in free play :)

I think it is 250 points in a day also...not over the entire trip

This is a good deal even with every scratcher being $5. Makes the cashback rate for a Noir player 0.34%, which is much better than most other places these days.

Sucks for me...I think Luxor is the only one of the four that still has UTH.

    Has NYNY dumped UTH?

This promo looks like the past two they have run. At least it gives you something to look forward to. The problem is counting out all the cards. I will be playing at Aria/NYNY/MC this weekend, so it give me something to do when I need a break.

NyNY used to have the chipless UTH where the cards were dealt faceup. The past couple of trips I made to vegas, I walked over to NYNY, but the game was gone.

This looks very similar to the Block Party Promotion they ran this past summer with exception that it sounds like they are using physical scratch cards not the touch screen board. This will be fun as we are leaving tomorrow and it starts on Friday, a nice promo for us with a chance to win more FP

Thats the kind of stuff I was wondering about. They show the promo runs for a month and it didnt say in a day or over the course. I assume its all linked between the 4. But i'd hate to rack up 1K in points by the time I get over to Luxor and they say you only have 200 here and you need 50 more. The points from MC or NY NY dont transfer over here.

This one, at 250 points, is better than the Block Party promo, which was every 500 points. I believe the points are tabulated AFTER your tier multiplier is factored in. So for a Noir player, it adds 0.28% if every card is $5 (those of us who had hundreds of touch screen selections on the Block Party promo know that they are pretty much all $5). Add this to the 0.14% you normally get, and that's 0.42% "cashback."

Even if they are not tabulated after the tier multiplier is factored in, this is still .30-34% for players. The best cashback on the strip.

I will have to ask my host tomorrow but I'm willing to bet it's earning 250points on your card no matter where you gamble. The only properties redeeming the points for a chance to win Freeplay will be those participating in the promotion. If memory serves me that is how it was for the similar program this past summer. If I get clarification will post tomorrow night :)

In the terms and conditions, mine says you have to be an invited mlife member. Doesn't say you have to be staying there. Maybe the offer is the invitation? Clear as mud. Also says you can use it in connection with other offers.

Well, information is only as good as the person giving it - but I did call NY NY yesterday and was told that any M Life member could participate, and you didn't need to be staying there.

I will put 6:5 odds on the "invited" part being part of their standard small print and nobody removed it. That applies for specific tournaments, events, etc.

Points have to be earned at listed casinos or they dont count towards.
For each 250 points you get a play. So some people can get some major free play

That would explain why it didn't really make sense the way it was worded.

So I'm pretty sure I'm the first person who tried this promotion. Here are the results and it's not what we expected. I earned 250 points after midnight at NYNY. Their club is open 24 hours. I go up and the 2 people working have no idea how this works. They read the rules and one of them tried on a huge fake mustache that came with it. The paper they were reading said stuff like "I mustache you a question and don't shave it for later". Anyway, they call a supervisor over and after 15+ minutes I get my scratch card. She says, hold his players card so you can add the freeplay he won. So I do the 5 dollar tab first and it says I'm not a winner. I get excited! I must have won 25 or more. With the block party, I did that promotion 28 times and got 26 five dollar free plays and 2 twenty-five dollar ones. Did I really beat the odds this time for only a 250 point contest? Well I pulled off the 25 dollar tab and it said sorry I'm not a winner. The 100 dollar tab- not a winner. I must be freakin rich! Well, of course the 1,000 and 10,000 were also losers. I think the supervisor was kind of shocked and said I guess they aren't all winners this time. Better luck with the next one she said. I don't think I'll be too excited to keep playing for this one- lol.
