    They found a friend of mine and had a similar offer. The "up to $1000" is for anyone that signs up for their players club. Mine turned out to be $3. lol.

    Nobody found me, but I talked to a host at the Downtown Grand who comped me for this Monday night after I mentioned that I was already being comped at the Golden Gate.

    I gave her my daily bankroll and estimated amount of play (which isn't excessive and hard to pin down as I will be with a group of friends). She was very helpful.
