Does anyone know which casinos on the strip are smoke free? If so, can you please let me know, as I will be going to those!

    Thanks in advance!

there is no non smoking casino on the strip, too many gamblers like to smoke especialy the high rollers. there are only some non smoking hotels that dont have casinos in them like 4 seasons.

I'm not aware of any non-smoking casinos on the strip. There are non smoking tables and slot areas in most. However, I don't spend much time on the strip anymore so maybe that's changed. I will say I don't have a problem with smoke in the newer and larger casinos, unless I'm right next to a smoker.

    Have a great trip!

The MGM has (or at least, use to have) a non-smoking section of table games. That's about as good as you're gonna find on the strip. Smoke is part of the Vegas experience. :wink2:

Last December I was wandering through Palazzo and saw at least one smoke-free $10 blackjack table. In fact, I think I remember reading signs there that the corridors in the casino were all supposed to be smoke free. I don't know if that's still the case, but in general the air was pretty clear there.

Yeah, public spaces (lobbies, hallways, shops) are supposed to be smoke free, as with restaurants, per a 2011 or 2012 law. Don't recall seeing a lot of smoke free tables when we were there last February:peace:

    smoke free

always try and stay in the casino's with high ceilings..most of the restaurants do inforce the no smoking policy.
we live in ohio and it's been smoke free for a few yrs now..really like that, the 4 new casino's are all smoke free too and it didn't seem to hurt the business there.
paris is nice for non smokers //high ceilings and must have great ventilation.
older places like harrah's, flamingo, riviera etc all too smokey for us.

Palazzo casino has a designated non-smoking area for slots and video poker which is fairly small

The Westin Casuarina casino is non smoking. It is right behind Ballys on East Flamingo. It's not large but has all the basics from what I remember.

I second this comment. The lower ceiling casinos, such as Harrahs, are difficult to breathe inside

Thankfully the days of going to sleep with everything smelling like an ashtray are rare from my experience. I can remember literally having to wash cloths twice to remove the smell of smoke after a trip.

The older lower ceiling casinos can be much worse. Golden nugget downtown was brutal on my last visit. The Riverside in Laughlin should give you has masks. :)

Is that a recent development? I stayed there last year and I distinctly remember being able to smoke there. They had ashtrays all over the place.

As for the OP's question, you might be out of luck. I know of lots of casinos with smoke-free areas, but I can't think of one (on strip or off) that is entirely smoke-free.

Wow, really? I'm not saying you're making it up, just that I have always smoked anywhere in a casino and feel a bit bad now.

Sorry, looks like you're right. It was a few years ago I first went there and was sure it was non smoking then or maybe I saw it was a non smoking hotel and assumed the casino was too. Can't really remember. However went twice this year and still thought it was no smoking as didn't see anyone smoke. Could be because it was practically empty both times, lol. Still may be a good place to go if you don't like smoke as very few people equals very little smoke! They had Sex and The City Big Diamonds there and most other casinos had taken them out.

Carrot Top has a bit about smoking in his show, and how that's the reason people from California come to Vegas- to be able to smoke since they can't in Cali. He says it a lot funnier than I just described however.

Non-casino spaces are supposed to be smoke free. Now, enforcement, on the other hand.....It's a grey area for some hallways, I think. I was thinking more the hallways to the casino stores or to the hotel area, not the hallways within the casino. And anything "adjacent" - that would be the grey area.
