    Good Day All,

During my upcoming trip, my friend booked us a tee time at DragonRidge. I wanted to know if anyone on the Board has ever golfed there, could tell me how the course was and provide any other details...?

    Thanks in advance,
    Charlie

I haven't played the Ridge for quite a few years, but it's a great design, save a few quirks, mostly for the intrusion of housing; good angles, mix of holes, risk/reward. I've always spoken well of the place but can't give you any idea of how they've been treating it recently.

Thanks for the info Ken! For the coin my friend is shelling out, hope it's at the Cascata-level... I'm picking up the tab at LVP Snow :peace:

Also, I plan to take lots of pics of both courses and will post them when I return from my trip.

I likewise have not played there for 3 or 4? years.
It's a good track, has a couple holes that seem a bit shoe horned in but over all plenty of good shot values.
I'll always remember the first time I played years ago after Tiger's tournament was there. The pro shop told me to be careful because they'd found a couple of baby rattlesnakes in the very bottom of two cups where they had curled up under the hole insert to be cool and damp.
I've been so careful in desert golf in the summer ever since. :confused2:

Thanks for the info, Malibugolfer... That's crazy about the baby rattlesnakes and hoping they won't be out in early to mid November...

Now, now, consider it your golf wedding night; not everything is going to be revealed up front.

No rattlers in November. They'll be denned up.

It's funny. Hundreds and hundreds of rounds in Palm Springs, AZ, Vegas, and I've never seen or heard a rattler on a course, and my golf ball doesn't always stay on the course. I've seen many hiking the coast in the OC, or slithering through my yard back when I lived in Murrieta.
