I went there once last year and found the entire place a bit sketchy. Just wondering if I was there on an "off" day or that's about as good as it gets?

Also I thought they had horse racing but I bee- lined right to the BJ table so I didn't even notice.

I have never been but Tony Bruno (Philly sports talk guy) goes there all of the time. Yes, they have horse racing.

Chester is about the armpit of the world, but I hear no reports of crime, like in that crime-ridden Las Vegas place.

They do have harness racing in season, whenever that is; as I do not follow the sport.

As far as the gaming goes, if you like slots they have a good selection and a pretty regular mix of table games. We're probably going to stop down there this Sunday.

I've not experienced or heard of any crime in or around the casino itself. Plus, there is a prison directly across the road from the casino.

Chester is a scary place if you get lost in there, especially at night. But there are well marked direct routes in and out of the place.

The one thing I like to do there on a nice day when I'm having a bad run of luck is to grab a drink and go sit in the grandstand of the racetrack and just look out over the river and watch the ships, the planes taking off from Philly International, the horses on the track and the world go by. Kind of nice just sitting out there.
