I haven't seen Absinthe before but from what I've heard and seen it seems to be right up my alley.
On the other hand, my boyfriend feels like going to shows are somewhat of wasted time during our vacation as we're already going to Ka.

I would like to know what are some things about the show that could possibly convince him to want to see it. Is it worth it?

    Thanks!

Not going to Absinthe because you are seeing KA is like saying no need to see the downtown because you are staying on the strip.

Absinthe is a top rated show for good reason, its worth your vacation time. It is also uniquely LV, I have seen twice and loved both times.

Boobs and a lot of raunch. If that doesn't convince your boyfriend, then why are you going to vegas :poke:

Have seen Absinthe three times and loved it every time. Every person we have recommended the show to have also loved it.

To save some money on tickets, go to the area outside the Absinthe tent the afternoon of the show. There will be a person passing out $20 off coupons in the area. Usually a guy dressed in a gold sport coat and white shoes. You can't miss him.

Don't buy the VIP seating as all seats are good seats.

It's not that you should not go to Absinthe because you're going to Ka.

You SHOULD go to Absinthe because you're going to Ka. Absinthe is Cirque's evil twin.

Go to Absinthe and DONT GO to Ka and you're boyfriend will be glad. Take him to KA and he'll never ever go to another vegas show again as long as you live.

Saw them both. Would see Absinthe again - KA was a yawner for me (same way I felt about "O" too)!

    This trip it's:

    Human Nature

    Michael Jackson ONE

    Jeff Civillico

I am not a show guy - I also feel that it could be 'time wasted.' I had a solo trip last time, and basically needed to step away from the gambling - you know, nothing but bad luck.

So I went to the tix4tonight location at about 7:30 pm and got a $75 ticket for the 9:30 show that night.

I loved the show - was laughing the whole time - well worth the price!

Seats are a bit cramped - and you hope not to get a tall person in front of you - they don't have graduated step seating - all the same height. Makes for some a lot of neck straining and bobbing in and out of people's heads.

    Enjoy!

I've heard nothing but good things about this show. Almost went in April but had too many other shows to go to. We'll be going Sunday night.

I'm still waiting to read ONE negative review of Absinthe. It must be THAT good because everyone recommends it.

Haven't seen it yet, but its definitely on the list next time my wife comes to Vegas with me.

Ya, that's the only negative thing I have to say about the show is that the seats are really really uncomfortable and they pack you in like sardines. Other than that it's one hell of a funny show and is a must see.

I have seen nearly every show in Vegas and seen Absinthe 3 times. Absinthe is the best show I have seen. Nothing compares. Filthy, politically incorrect, great acts, and oh yeh, filthy.

    Awesome show.

I had to laugh thinking of this thread.

    1. Woman posts "convince my man to see Absinthe"

    2. 75 "boobs and dirty jokes" replies +3 dirty vids follow

    3. Woman books Human Nature

(ok, maybe not but I cracked up thinking about it)
