    My Trip Report

Well in about 20 minutes I will leave work and officially be on Vegas mode. Flight leaves at 10pm central time and I have a bunch of errands to run before hand. Since I have Tapatalk, I will try my best to post live during the trip if my phone battery can handle it.

Plan for tonight if we aren't completely dead upon arrival (I'm usually in bed by 1030) is a coffee/baileys and some Caveman Keno.

Crossing my fingers, and toes, for a winning trip.

    TTYL!

Thanks everyone! Sitting at the airport now (DfW airport now has free wifi, I didn't know that)wondering how in hell I'm going to stay awake when it will be 2am in TX once we get to the Mirage. I doubt this mc d's coffee is going to help me much.

I honestly don't know if the Mirage has caveman keno....I've been playing it on videopoker.com . I'll definitely let you know if I find it! Boarding in an hour (we are early people) woohoo!

The cab driver long hauled us, I think. I said Mirage, no tunnel and expected at $15 fare but he ended up on the highway telling us "you'll never get there otherwise" and the fare ended up at $21. Sonofabitch.
Then the check in line was horrendous and there were only 3 agents at the desk. They did have our room preblocked since I called ahead and this is our view

We stopped into Carnegie, which is actually closed but they're serving a limited menu at Samba. Had grilled cheese and fries. Played for 2 hours on $40 and broke even thanks to a Mystic Unicorn machine which triggered a bonus on my second spin. Went to bed around 3am Vegas time.
Got up early, hit Carnegie again for bagels and coffee

Stuck a dollar in this and just played the dollar. No hits :( but yes they have it!

We've been to Harrahs, Flamingo and Paris today and it's been lose lose lose for me but my mom is even for the day. I'm already halfway into my day's bankroll!
There were some people picketing outside Cosmo. Something about no pay no peace or some shit like that.

Posting this from my iPad so no pics at the moment but the lunch was good. I can't eat that much so I just did the seafood and a dessert. I'm what you call a pescatarian...vegetarian but I eat shrimp and crab occasionally. Great that its free, i don't have to worry about paying for food I'm not going to eat. We are just getting back to the room after being out since 8 this morning! The weather has been perfect. Not too cold, not hot. Just right!

After lunch I was down to my last $20 and stopped at a G+ Deluxe Queen of the Wild slot at Caesars. I hit for $193! No pics unfortunately because as i tried to video the hit, my phone decided it's storage was full. That always happens! My luck was ok for the rest of the day including some decent hits on another G+ machine at Mirage, Mystic Unicorn. I was up quite a bit at one point but its so addicting, I kept going back and eventually lost all but $60 so that is what I ended with for the day. Those G+ machines really pay out when you hit something decent. I had a few dud bonuses tho, which really suck when you know how much you could be winning.

Dinner was at Noodle Asia at Venetian, we just had the noodles with vegetables and it was great. We picked up tickets for Le Reve which we'll be seeing tomorrow night. I saw it about 8 years ago but they say its really changed since then.

Tomorrow is the day we try our luck on the Lions Share. To be continued....

It's been so busy since I got home Sunday night this is the first I've been able to post. I don't have much more to post besides the fact that those wins above were the last ones for the trip. It was a slow downward losing spiral from there.

We did try the Lion Share machine on Saturday and brought my $40 to $70 before cashing out. I felt like to totally wimped out so before we left I went back to play some more. To my dismay there was a man sitting there with a ….BOOK…reading it and not even watching the reels as he pressed the spin button. Ugh. He was definitely not moving any time soon so we left.

La Reve was really nice and it was very different from the first time I saw it. My mom really enjoyed it. I enjoyed watching the 2 ladies in front of me almost get into a fist fight over one of them taking pictures (which you are allowed to do). It was worth a giggle or two.

After the show we ate at CPK inside the Mirage. Best part about it was that there was a huge line but with my Pearl card they sat us right away. I could feel people cursing me from the line…maybe that’s why I had no luck from that point on!

I went to bed Saturday with about $60 of my day’s bankroll still intact…$240 down. That gave me $160 for our last day, which didn’t take me too long to lose in various machines. My bankroll was smaller than it is when I go with my husband so I was pretty down that I couldn’t just keep playing. I was not about to hit the ATM.

2 things noted on this trip....1) cocktail service was virtually non existent in almost every casino we visited...with the exception of Paris 2) Half of the women/girls in Vegas should really look in to the mirror before leaving their hotel rooms. I saw some things this weekend that I can never un-see.

Our cab fare back to the airport was only $15 and we hit every single red light on the way (our great luck continued lol). I swear we had the same driver we had last October. He’s a really nice guy and told us that the one who took us out there on arrival surely long hauled us. He said he should’ve never taken the freeway.

Our flight was delayed about an hour but we got home eventually. Not long after my husband and I were planning our anniversary trip in May. Time for a new counter! We are planning to hit the OK casino next month too. Addictions suck!

LOL you had it right the first time. No wait,I couldn't have even afforded a handbag this trip! I'm hoping Windstar has G+ deluxe.

I swear my heart skipped a beat every time one of those machines would show duplicate reels on the first two or three and that crazy noise starts. I've seen how those pay out with full screen....maybe one day I'll experience it in person and not on youtube.

I did hit a bonus on every single one - however some of them were just plain old shit. $2.60 was my bonus that the unicorns graciously gave me on my last $20 before leaving for the airport!

Yea that's all I play anywhere I go g+ deluxe games. It's so addicting. Plus the potential to win huge on such small bets.

Winstar has a bunch of g+deluxe games I mean a bunch. My favorites there are robin hood laredo and Nordic spirit. Just be careful because some of them.are class 2 slots linking then to bingo pattern wins. Its a small amount of machines that are class 2 I think I saw maybe 6 of them. Also they just put in awesome reels there but those are class 2 with bingo patterns.

I'm pretty sure ALL of the machines at Winstar are class 2 machines with that bingo pattern.

It's really interesting when you play Video Poker there because once you push the initial deal button, your win is already predetermined, regardless of what you choose to hold. For instance, say you were dealt a royal flush on the opening deal. Your predetermined win is the royal flush, so regardless of what you do, you will win the 4000 credits or whatever the royal flush payout is. So if you actually decided not to hold the royal flush, you'd just be dealt another royal flush on the re-deal. It is very strange.
