I'll be staying downtown at MSS on my upcoming trip with my gf and I was wondering where is a good place to be able to sneak in some of the Sunday morning NFL games (preferably more than one option) while enjoying breakfast. I wanna do my best to at least see some parts of the games without boring her too much (it's her vacation too, after all) which is why I think breakfast would be a perfect time.

Side note: On our trips we're usually attached at the hip, with the occasional split up.

    Thanks :)

I think they have tv's on at the 777 at MSS. You can also go to the sports book at the Cal, they have multiple channels on also, not sure if you can eat there or how big the chairs and tables are to eat and watch tv. there is also Dave's bar near the sports book at the Cal that has some channels on. MSS also has a bar that may have the TV on.

I just mentioned the MSS and Cal but there are many areas where you can watch FB and eat in other hotels and casinos.

here is another thread with suggestions on where to watch FB downtown:

Thanks Makikiboy. I'm more interested in a restaurant that has food (especially breakfast) and tvs than a sports book type venue...I'd like the games to be going on in the background where I can watch them but at the same time enjoy a good meal with her and the games aren't the center of attention (as they would be if i was to drag her to a sports book).

Does Hash House at the Plaza have tvs?

hmmm, I was hoping someone with experience could comment but I think 777 might be your best bet, I remember they have tv's around the place but not sure about football times. not sure about HHAGG.

First games start at 10 local time and I think 777 still doesn't open until 11 AM, even on Sundays and they don't have breakfast items. Also, except for MNF, they just play music during the games at the 777. The buffet at MSS has no TVs.

Upstairs at Chicago Brewing Co, inside Four Queens they have the NFL ticket and good food, but not breakfast. But I love pizza at 10 AM! I think they can have 6 different games on at once. Best seat is at the bar with VP and the big set. Just be warned if Da Bears are playing, that will be the game on that set because the bartender is a big fan of anything Chicago.

    Chicago Brew

If you're set on breakfast, this doesn't work, but otherwise a really good deal. Below is part of a long post I made under "More Downtown Progress" based on our trip last week. Chicago Brew is not a big place, but there are several screens tuned to the games:

The Four Queens has two good offers right now. The first is easy. Just show your player's card at the player's club along with your card from another casino and get $10 of free slot play. The other is called "Football Match Up." On Thursdays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays before 10 pm they will match your Chicago Brew receipt with free play (min $20, max $50). They also give you a $10 match play coupon for table games. Binions has the same offer for Benny's Bullpen receipts. I think this is what some others have posted re: the Four Queens giving free play for Chicago Brew receipts.

One more thing...MSS has nothing but basic cable, so for football Fox, CBS, NBC & ESPN.

There are Tv's around the bar at HHaGG. You can sit at the bar and see them fine... There are a few tables that you can probably get a look at one of the tv's

    Thanks Joe and Marksind

I think the Chicago Brewing Co. is definitely right up our alley...especially with the freeplay offer. Is there anything online with the specifics of the deal/fine print? Like when it ends, if alcohol is excluded from the receipt, etc. I couldn't find anything on the Four Queens website.

    Definitely appreciate that recommendation

Good to know! Our plan is to watch the 10 AM Packer/Ravens game on Sunday at Chi Brew and have a pizza at half time. Probably won't get to $20 since we gamble at the bar and the drinks are on the house. Only pay for the pizza, gaming losses and tips! :wink2: But the $10 free play for another card is good, if there isn't a line 10 deep at the player's club.

That $10 free-play offer at the 4Q, for showing another downtown player's card has been going on for over a year. We did it last November, and it was going on before that. So, many, many people have already done it ... but I know what you mean, as the line at the 4Q player's club is always slow, no matter what.

The CBC promo includes alcohol. I did it twice on my last trip, and had to pay for beers to meet the $20 minimum.

Benny's Bullpen at Binion's has the same promo as well. Spend $20-50, get it back in freeplay, plus a $10 matchplay coupon.

It's on "football" days - Th, Sa, Su, Mo. You have to turn in your receipt at the players club before 10 PM on the day you do it.

That's such an awesome deal. I just got my monthly Las Vegas Advisor newsletter in the mail and it pretty much said what's already been said in here if anyone is looking for further confirmation.

Quick question about Chicago Brewing Co...how smokey does it get in there? We are both non-smokers and gf unfortunately is especially sensitive to smoke with her asthma.
