Will be in Vegas Oct. 19th thru 23rd...her birthday is Monday the 21st and she keeps hinting as to what I have planned for her. I need some help on this one as to what show or anything would be a good choice....the pressure is to much.

Wow, that would annoy me. When I want to do something, I let my husband know instead of forcing him to read my mind and then hint at him until he goes insane:rolleyes2:

What kind of entertainment does your wife enjoy? What have you seen already? What is your budget? Etc.......

Otherwise we're all just going to tell you what our favorite shows are, regardless of whether that's an appropriate recommendation or not.:peace:

For a couple I'd recommend Zumanity. I saw it with my GF and we were both very happy afterwards :)

I fell asleep in Zumanity - but I dislike CDS shows (I hated O too and will not see another one, esp since they're so expensive - not at ALL worth it to me)

And this is why I said more information would be helpful. :peace:

I'm around your wife's age and if I was in Vegas during that time I'd like to see:

Oct 19 NBA Pre- Season: Los Angeles Clippers vs. Denver Nuggets @ Mandalay Bay
Oct 23 America's Got Talent Live @ MGM

Also playing is: Oct 19 Jimmy Buffett and The Coral Reefer Band @ MGM

Veronic used to be $2.50 with a code. The code is somewhere on the site. Good show.

Maybe she won't feel like it's big unless it's an expensive ticket. Then O, Le Reve or LOVE. MJONE is also very popular right now.

If she likes Motown music, Human Nature.

If she likes Broadway shows, Jersey Boys. A good, small musical is Menopause the Musical.

If she likes comedy, Carrot Top has good reviews. I enjoy Riviera comedy (but it's more small-scale).

If she likes concerts, Britney Spears, Celine Dion, Donny and Marie. I hear Bruno Mars is doing a brief thing at Cosmo. Boyz II Men also has a weekend concert.

For impersonations, Legends in Concert or Terry Fator. Divas is a great show also--it's impersonations in drag.

Where is age given? Did I miss that? (not that age ever mattered in my taste in music or shows etc)

Come on. There are 20-40 shows in Vegas. Many of them are rated "the best" by different people. How can anyone here know what would be good for you.

I have some ideas, but without knowing a little more, it makes no sense to share what I think is great/best/good.

Besides... that might not even matter.

    people!

in the original posters first post, in the introduce yourself forum, under the title hello from illinois, he makes reference to his wife's 43rd birthday, so there you go.

hope you can put your thoughts into a recommendation now.

i think, mj, that you should float the idea of a topless show and see how she responds. you may be surprised, and results may vary.

I still don't think age is a relevant factor in a show recommendation, and I don't read that forum, so I'm not sure how those of us here were supposed to know that?

If the OP could come back to THIS thread and provide more info, that would be great:thumbsup:
