    Sorry if this is in the wrong spot, but a couple of questions I had;

    Planning to explore a few venues and would like to know which casino's cards I should get, and which cover more than 1 location. I think I figured out which ones mlife and Boyd apply to, not sure about CET or others. Staying at Circus Circus, so will get theirs. Is that the mlife?

    Also, is there any point in signing up in the casino before my initial check in?

    Thanks to all previous posters, I've already learned a lot.

    Circus Circus has their own card, they are owned by the MGM group, but are not part of Mlife. Rumors say that the property will either be sold or demolished once the economy improves. I enjoy gambling there. I also like the Vegas history at the property, just watch Diamonds Are Forever for a trip back to the early 1970s.

    Probably should be under comps, but this is fine.

    No advantage at all to sign up in advance. You will need to show your ID to get a card anyways.

    Another hint: scan through postings from the past few weeks to learn more about Vegas.

    Sign up in person at the players club at the casino. You might get a minimal amount of free play or some token gift. You won't get this if you sign up online.

    Thanks for your replies and advice all :nworthy:
    Never even been inside a casino before, so lots to learn! This board has been a great help, though I'll have to read a lot more to pick up all the lingo. I thought CET was a medical procedure at first.
