Do all the downtown casino's have game cards ? How hard is it to build enough points to get any comps ? Years are I stayed and played at Fitzgerald's and they were very good with their comps.. However, those days a long gone Now we're staying at El Cortez and understand they have good and less expensive craps and black jack tables. We'll sure find out I'm sure.
yes, the downtown casinos have player's cards and they come by different names. check out their web sites for more into on their player's cards. How hard to accumulate points? It depends on what you play (how much you play, how long you play, etc.), on the machines you accumulate points for comps faster, when playing on the tables you may need to play the minimums ($25 on the table) to qualify for comps IMHO. It is definitely harder to get comps compared to years (decades?) ago. since everything is all in the computer they have a more accurate way of rating you and giving you comps. in previous decades ago they usually had to guesstimate and take a guess on your play to determine comps. nowadays (if you use your player's card) they know exactly what you have been doing and playing and spending in order to determine your comps. hopefully others can assist you with these questions as I don't play for comps and since I usually play $5 craps tables most times I don't meet the minimums to qualify for comps and comp meals.
Well, I'll play Wheel of Fortune the Wizard and see how things go. I'll sure get the B card as well as El Cortez ..
Every hotel/casino downtown has player's cards. Get a B Connected card for Boyd and your points for Fremont, Cal & Main Street are all linked, so play at any of them counts on your card score. Binion's and Four Queens have the same owner, but not sure if the cards are linked. Besides Boyd, I usually only play at Four Queens. Same situation with Golden Gate and the D, not sure if the points are linked. One more...Vegas Club & Plaza have the same ownership. There are plenty of downtown experts who will have the answers on linked points.
The only properties downtown that have cards linked to other properties downtown are these: MSS, Cal, Fremont Vegas Club, Plaza Binions and Four Queens are separate, as well as Golden Gate and The D. I used to be a loyal Fitz fan as well. My recent experience is that Golden Gate is the most generous with comps downtown.
I'll get the "B" card as well as the El Cortez and see how I d on slots. I just wonder how much the average play takes in $ to spend on gamblyng per day ? I'm sure they have a limit.
