So I was in vegas in March but didn't do much gambeling at any of the TR casinos. I did make Platinum prior to that last trip. I have notices since I made Platinum I've lost ALL offers for room deals. I mean there isn't a single offer out there for me now.

Has anyone else seen all the offers drop off? I can't get a comp room for any day of the week at any hotels now. Just find it odd.

Guess time to look at new casinos.

This is probably the key to your problem. Platinum doesn't guarantee you room offers outside of Summer and Winter tournaments. But if you were in Vegas and played lightly with CET, it's affecting your offers now. I am Platinum and play at a consistent rate and find I have more offers when they are slow. I didn't have much for fall but now my account's been more active with offers with events towards the end of the year.

Trying to be nice... but... it is repeated here almost daily that offers are tied to ADT, and not to tier or card level.

If you visited CET and played just a little, you have indicated you are a very low roller to CET. The only thing they go from is your ADT (average daily theo/play).

Also, said almost as often, with CET you should check the rate calendar and not your offers. (maybe you are already doing this)

    Understand.

I've been going out 2 to 3 times a year now for last 18 years. Always stay at CET 2 of the 3 times. (once a year stay at The Hotel for convention). Every year I've always had 20 to 30 offers. All of a sudden they are gone. I was out in Vegas last Feb and in May. I played at CET both times like I always do. Just cuaght me off gard that this happened same time I hit Platinum due to all kinds of spending on my Credit Card. (built a new house and put it all on CET card)

Stick around here. You will find Diamond players with no offers. Some can still get rooms, but no offers.

I made Platinum after my last trip (end of Aug) and as of today I still have 20 offers in Total Rewards.

Did you lose them immediately or shortly there after?

So looking at rooms today again.

If I do not log into the site and just look at the calander the rooms are actually cheaper then when I log with my TR #.

    Example:
    The Quad
Day Without TR Login With TR Login
    Wed. $47.99 $55.99
    Thurs. $47.99 $55.99
    Fri. $119.99 $145.99

    Ceasers
    Thurs $223.20 $274.00
    Fri $151.20 $184.00
    Sat. $151.20 $184.00

    PH
    Thrus $79.19 $97.00
    Fri $127.20 $157.00
    Sat $127.20 $157.00

Every hotel is like that. Very odd. I think Ceaser himself is pissed off at me. :)

I'm not Platinum and had only gambled a little bit at PH before, but before my trip this summer I could usually get some comped rooms at Rio, Quad, and Ballys.

So I decided to increase my CET play during my summer trip to see how my offers increased.

    Well, that backfired.

Now I have ZERO comped rooms on the rate calendar. Quad wants $21.99 a night. I literally wouldn't stay there if they paid me $21.99 a night to do so.

IMHO the calendar offers "reward" you for past play with free rooms. The offers are based on ADT also, but tend to be used to bring you back to the properties. I believe if you have a good ADT and come often your offers wont be as good as if you have a good ADT and havent been as often as you usually do. They want to incentivize you to come, and if you are coming already they dont have as much a reason to throw offers at you.

I earned Platinum the hard way, through the credit card promo. I typically go to Vegas twice a year and gamble 90% at CET props. I never ever ever get any offers but can get a room comp here and there. However, me and my girlfriend went to Windsor a couple months ago and I earned right around 220 tier credits from slots. They are drowning me with offers, free slot play, free concerts, free merchandise, 6 separate weeks with rooms comped Sunday-Saturday. We are finally going back in a few weeks to use a couple nights and use the slot play and get some POTS AND PANS!!!!! Lame

That seems like the easy way to me...lol...it definitely would have cost me less to buy my way to platinum versus play my way there. But yes, how offers are given out for little play is always puzzling. I say milk it all you can, as long as you can afford the expenditures on the trips. Take advantage of them until they stop offering.

    Strange to be sure...

Especially since higher rates when logged in--honestly I would call about that one...
My offers are usually crap; Rate calender varies WILDLY...if I find comped rooms for when we are going I JUMP. Noticing rates have followed typical resort action & risen as upcoming trip nears....
BUT I have booked early, checked often & found a better resort comped later.
The lack of rhyme & reason is frustrating...
That being said, we hit Vegas 2-4x/yr for 3-5 nts. Hit our local casino a few times a year for a night. Typically have $100-250/day, TX Hold Em poker tourneys are my focus, but I will fill my time w/ VP machines.
We are lowly gold...tho got to platinum w/ CC, which means little besides line jumping in Vegas.
We never pay Sun-Thurs nts in Vegas (typically Ballys or Harrahs).

    Ah, things change again...

Just popped onto the TR site; Booked our upcoming trip this summer; comped Sun-Tues. None of the properties have been showing comps for a couple months...Now three properties are--go figure.
It's how I've stumbled upon Caesars comped twice; I had booked us, but kept checking that calender. And I learned to IMMEDIATELY make the change as it can go away in an instant.
