Last week Houston cost me two wins with the side and first half under. After that loss Texans fans should burn down Reliant Stadium.

    Onward.

Only 2 wagers for me this week.

Someone has to win this game. I am certainly not wagering on the Eagles.

I really like New York in this one.

New York Giants -2.5 (-110) William Hill

Waiting on a line for this game for the first half under.

I wouldn't play this game if YOU gave the $$$$. There have GOT to be better plays elsewhere. Just for the hell of it whats the U/O??

If accurate, Dallas opened as a 3.5 underdog and now is 6.5.....if I could I would but won't be there until Thursday.....Denver......lay the points...

maybe. but any bet on an awful team like the G-men is destined for pain. like betting Jacksonville last week with the 20 points. never bet on a terrible team no matter what the line is.

I'm leaning Philly. The Giants o-line is just horrible

If I was in LV I would pour money into this wager. The Eagles are THAT bad.

Giants at home. Their defense is not as bad as people think. I still insist Vick isn't a good fit for this offense. It has shown the past two weeks. He will make the big plays, but also make mistakes.

I've never understood how someone tells someone else there are better plays elsewhere. If a game fits your criteria for a wager , it fits your criteria.
As far as betting on bad teams, bad teams do cover.
I know someone who refuses to bet on a team he considers "bad".
    His bookie loves him.

there's bad teams where there's value and there's bad teams that are just pain bad. NYG and Jax are just plain bad. the only reason NYG aren't compared to Jax as being the worst team in the league is because NYG got lucky and won a couple of SBs in the past few years. but this year they are among the worst. now once people start jumping on the "bet against NYG" bandwagon and the line starts shifting, they could be a good value bet, but at this point people still think they have some promise and the lines are nowhere near where they should be.

    Thanks for that update!
Thinking the game might be under..........but Eagles D sucks and the Giants once they get a bad break folds like an accordion. I don't like anything about this game ( the line or the U/O).Like I stated earlier wouldn't touch this game UNDER ABY CIRCUMSTANCES! But hopeful for a Giant win ( PUHLEASE!!!!).

How about one bad team and one abysmal team?

well, yeah. every game can be a winner if you bet the right side. I'm talking about looking for quality plays. quality plays don't guarantee a winner, but making a habit of betting on awful teams is a recipe for disaster. maybe they cover, but they often don't. I thought we learned this in the Jax vs Sea game?

Jax/Sea was still in doubt in doubt in the 4tn quarter
Pete Caroll still had his QB throwing
Jax did cover the 2nd half.

Philadelphia is going to win. The Giants secondary is not very good and their DL has not been getting any push, which surprised me because I thought their DL was pretty good.

    Oh, and their LBs are...who?

    Birds - 34
    Giants -20

Actually this past week their LB crew played decent IMHO. Regarding the DL... I think they have age and JPP is no where NEAR playing shape ( maybe with that surgery ya NEVER get to be what ya once were)Their secondary is banged up.Not excuses but fact. But I WILL go on record if the Jints get behind early, that stadium( fans) will get VICIOUS quick.

That is why I am happy the Eagles are on the road - because after that Denver massacre if they were at home and they fell behind our crowd would be looking for pitchforks.

My LB comment was mainly in regards to them trying to cover Shady out of the backfield.

JPP has indeed lost a bit - he needs to get healthy. Tuck is old but I thought the additions of Mike Patterson and Cullen Jenkins would give them a nice rotation.

This is one game I feel really good about for the Eagles.

I am running and hiding under my desk rather than betting this game. If I were in Vegas I would invent some criterion that enabled me to form a misguided preference, but from home...not feeling it.

For those of you who have a hunch...more power to you, sirs.
