Do the downtown properties offer any freeplay for signing up for players cards like the strip properties do? If so, which ones and how much? Thanks

Not to hijack OP thread, but I'd also be curious to know if anyone has seen any of the downtown places provide any extra incentive for a premium card/new member sign up. (Similar to Borgata in AC or even how Cosmo matches status).

    Thanks!

I am not sure what the "free gift" is, but there is free play available with the El Cortez card

    http://elcortezhotelcasino.com/gaming/club-cortez/

    http://www.advantageplayer.com/lasvegas/promotions/slotsignups.shtml

above is a recently updated list....Binions $10 free play after 10 points

The D $3 at sign up and $5 more after 50 points

Golden Gate $10 after 100 points in 24 hours

    LVC loss rebate

so from the above list from Aug 10th it appears the only one on that list that gives free play immediately with no play is The D for $3

Golden nugget... gives you a chance to spin for $5 -1000 in freeplay at the playerclub desk. Usually $5.
Binions was giving a deck of cards and if you got a coupon at the entrance you can spin on some promo slots near the players club.

Four queens gave a deck of cards, $10 matchplay, first card free ace for bj, and some other misc coupons but not freeplay.

Thanks for the input. I submitted a cosmo offer for golden nugget to match 1.5 times the offer. So if I take advantage of that ill check out the plaza and some of these other places in a cpl weeks!

I would be interested in hearing more about how this works. Is this advertised somewhere? Could I actually convert my mailer for 3 free nights at Golden Gate into a stay at Golden Nugget?

I will advise once I get the fine print, but from what I understand they match the free play @ 1.5 times the amount. My $615 in free play is worth $920something. Apparently they don't match the up front food but they will evaluate the play as per normal for back end comping. They also comp the room but minimum offer is $100 for this promo. My Cosmo offer is 4 nights but I only asked for 2 at the Nugget. You can email the director/host on the website and forward your offer and then they will let you know once it's verified if they will match.

Go to the Four Queens Players Club and show them a slot card from another downtown casino and they'll give you $10 free play. Turned that into $150 on a double diamond .25 machine.
