To the casino that is. http://www.vegaschatter.com/story/2013/6/6/133951/3616/vegas-travel/How+Much+Are+You+Worth+To+A+Casino%3F From the formula I am worth a whopping $384! LOL. That explains why my room/meals are never comped. Well I was comped once and that was with Harrahs in March 2012 and never again. At the Wynncore I always get the rinky dink $129/night during the week deal and maybe near the holiday season when things are really slow they probably throw table scrap of $100 to $150 in food credit.
Well, this explains why my Wife, Sister and Brother in-law, Mom, and Sister all have better offers, deals, and comps than me. They are all slot players. I'm a craps player. They play maybe 400 dollars max, most times less, per day while yours truly will buy-in 4 to 6 hundred dollars PER SESSION at craps. And I usually play 3 sessions per day. Usually the casino gets most of my session buy-ins at the end of the day. And I lose substantially more than them on a daily basis. But the article clearly states: casinos prefer penny slot players than craps players. Oh well, I still love to play craps over slots.
that's just a basic theo calculation. you can get that from them at the end of your trip to know exactly.
When I play blackjack I do not customarily provide a player card. My estimated loss at video poker ends up at roughly what I actually lose, which means I pay for my free room plus a small amount of profit. Since I would gamble anyway, and lose the same amount, the free room is a nice incentive. Curiously, this equation seems to work despite my impressive lifetime total of zero royal flushes. Thank you for the link. It's an easy calculation, yet I had never bothered to make it.
Given my pathetic playtime at the tables, the host would probably laugh in my face. The last time I was in Vegas which was in May of this year for a three day trip I logged in a total of seven hours and 20 minutes at the bac tables. That is not just at the Wynn but also at the Aria, MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay and the Cosmo put together. Plus also at $50 to $170 a hand, I wouldn't even get the time of day of attention with anyone in Vegas. Maybe in AC and CT but not in Vegas. What was I doing the rest of the time? Roaming around the Fashion Mall and the Forum Shoppes. I probably spent more time at the Apple store messing around with the iPad since I don't have an iPad yet because I find the present models clunky and under equipped. Until the iPad 5 or the iPad Mini 2 come out, I am waiting patiently to get one. If not doing any of the above I am being a vacation foodie.
