    My Trip Report

We would normally be ready to drink the moment we were in the airport, so we planned on meeting for drinks and apps at Chilis in the airport....but we didn't order drinks and only one person wanted to drink so no one did....He seemed a little disappointed as I have been hyping this trip up for MONTHS about how were just going to be drunk for 4 days.....
Smooth flight, we arrive at about 430pm and head down to baggage claim, where we had met our limo driver, which we had ordered from Presidential Limo online, which I recommend to anyone!
As we made our way to the limo, I had my first celebrity sighting and only the limo driver and I realized it. My friend only saw him from the side and we all looked at one another like we know they are famous but who the heck was he!! He did see me looking at him and was smiling at me so I had his face stuck in my head. The friend (Jen) who kinda saw him said he looked like someone from a show she saw on Netflix and the driver said he was a comedian...so once we get In the limo and champagne popped we look it up real quick... it was the guy she thought, Ken Marino.... I have seen him on a couple things...
Anyways- We get to the Flamingo after a quick liquor store stop and check in around 5:15 at the VIP check in, eventho there was only a few people in line, I didn't want to wait and I could. It being Sat night of Labor day weekend, our request for the Go Mini Suite was denied, even with the $20 sitting openly on the counter...so she said she could get us a GO deluxe but not strip view..so that $20 goes right back in my wallet.
Get to the room.. standard room, 2 queens (We had to pile in 5 people the first night since the other couple K&D didn't book a room that night) We drop our stuff off, get some beers and head down. It was Jen&K's (they didn't know each other) first trip to Vegas and we knew going in they both don't gamble so we thought them two would be good at the pool while the boys and me gamble lol... anyways...first stop was at Carnivale Court. Hubs and I go to play at a table order a beer right away, within 15 mins I was up $80 so I said I was ready to move on and so was hubs so on we go…. We walked thru the Quad, Harrahs, sat outside and watched the volcano show at Mirage…. It was pretty cool, 7th trip to Vegas was filled with a few firsts for us-That being one. We went to the Venetian, which is always amazing. We were going to get a drink at the bar, but I needed cigarettes so I said we will go to Walgreens and buy big boys for $3- so we all get one, hubby gets 2…hes a big guy. While it was a pretty long line, it went quick with their new system they have going on, I like it a lot. So we walk and watch the Pirate show, another first for us…I really liked it. So we then go in to TI, where I usually LOVE to gamble but this time, not so much. I wanted to play BJ with the guys while J/K went to eat, but I only had Harrahs chips. I went to the cage, they had to call and verify that the $375 was legit and I even gave them my players card info. They said no. alright so I have a $100 bill ready to play at the table but they are both getting their butts kicked so I try a slot. Damn bug machine I can never remember the name of, I put the hundo in, with all intentions of cashing out at $50. Well that doesn’t happen and NOTHING!!! Im ready to leave!! I allowed myself $300 that night and was up $175 until there.. Also didn’t get offered a drink at all while I was there for a good 20 mins, but that was ok with me, I had my 3 beers that night.  While we walk towards Ceasers we go inside look around the shops…. We had to ask like 15 people the fight results….no one knew. None of us remembered to bet on the fight when we got in, but we all knew we were going to bet on Pettis under 4.5 rounds… Finally find out it was over in 1….we were all kinda kicking ourselves, eventho we knew it wasn’t going to be a huge pay out, we still woulda won! So, as were walking thru the casino, I don’t think that any of us played anything… just looked around and once we gt outside, its around 1030, K said she wanted to go to bed….so we all go back to Flamingo and head up to bed around 11pm…. What an EXCITING Saturday night in Vegas! (I kid) It wasn’t a bad idea tho as we all wanted to get up at 7 to get in line for the pool. In normal Vegas style, I get up at like 530am, D was already up, hubs/k/j all still asleep. I start to get dressed and J wakes up so we decided we needed coffee. So we get ready while Hubs/K/D all still laying down. We were going to go to the food court but I decide to walk a little outside and people watch at 545am….So nice and peaceful. The occasional people still getting it in from the night before. We stop at McDonalds, get enough for everyone and head back. I don’t like to eat a lot in the morning, especially if I know I am going to the pool all day….
Get in a line of about 15 people at 750a,not too bad. Get in find some good seats, but its still pretty cold outside….so we go in and don’t want to get out; felt like the water was warmer than the air! Couldn’t wait til about 10am when the sun went over the building and was blazing on us! We wait til then to begin the drinking…..and that’s where I am going to pause things…..
Be back after work tonight to finish up our first full day!!!!

Could I humbly request that you format the next section using paragraphs? Interesting trip report but by the time I was done reading the first part, my brain was out of breath.

    Thanks in advance.

Loving the report...but I agree, an occasional space would stop my eyes from crossing. Waiting for the next installment!

My bad. I agree with that 100% when reading TRs so I don't know why I didn't.

    Anyways. Flamingo GO Pool....
At first the sun was still behind The Westin (we think that's what that building was) but at about 9:45/10am the sun FINALLY came out and it was just perfect.
This was our first time at a pool in Vegas- I don't know why....at all. The drinks were awesome and not too badly priced, AND you get a pretty awesome cup to take.... the beer is where the mark up was.
Since it was Sunday it got pretty full, but we had front row being there since 8am.. at about 3:30-4ish we were ready to leave after drinking about 6 buckets of Corona and the few drinks in between, id say the 4 of us needed to get some food. (the 5the wasn't drinking and just wanted to be crabby)

The other couple had tix for KA, so after a quick run at the Flamingo Buffet, which wasn't terrible AND I got 2 free glasses of wine for being platinum, so that was a bonus, on to the long walk to MGM.

Had my only slot machine win here- put a $20 in my favorite Hot Shot Machines while hubs found a bathroom, I hit right away for $160-Cashed out and was pretty content. I didn't do much gambling yet that day and was happy walking away with $140. MGM is packed. We have been there once since we stayed there in '06 and it was packed then too....I don't get it, but its a popular name so its going to draw more attention.
After walking around for a few mins we played the Lets Make a Deal machine,
I lost $40, hubs won $200. That bonus that he had was pretty fun! I wanted to get it! oh well, cant have all the luck.

Realizing we still have 70 mins before they are done, hubs, J and I walk over to NYNY, The long way at first, but we get there. We redeem our MyVegas Roller Coaster Ride and head on up. There is a line about 45 people so that irritated me, until we walk up and ask the guy where we go he pointed to a VIP line that had no one there, so we walk up, give them our card and voucher and there we go. Skipped everyone in line, but so did the young kids behind us...Not sure if they just opened that line and we happened to be there first, but it was pretty awesome.
I do get super nervous on Roller Coasters I actually HATE them, but I didn't have time to be nervous- It was so much fun! It just got dark outside so when your making your way to the top, it was beautiful! I didn't think I was going to like it as much as I did!
Down at the casino, I played Hot Shots and lost....go figure, that machine and I are becoming less friendly! Wanted to play a little BJ, we only had about 20 mins to get over to the MGM before KA was over. Looked around only one $10 table and it was full. Hubs normally will go to a $25 table, but he was trying to be conservative with his money this trip. We waited around a bit but nothing else opened, so we left.
bought 3 bottles of water from the people on the bridge and went back to MGM.

Making our way to the KA theater, hubs wants to play the Lion Share machines, now this is a whole bank of them and the jackpots are between 1,000-5,000 so these are not the progressive that I wanted to play, which I never found, he loses a quick $40 and we head to the theater and wait. OF COURSE there has to be a Hot Shot machine there too. So, its the big ones where u play 2 sides and it seats 3 people, well we did, sat there lost about $150 between hubs and I. Not all money in tho, he had a few $50 hits, but he never cashes out when he wins, like I tell myself I m going to.... :)

They come out, K Loved the show, D didn't seem too happy, he said he fell asleep for a quick 5 mins, but after that he started to get into it. He was one of the 4 of us drinking all day by the pool so he might have been a little hungover. Which I soon realize Hubs, J and D all feel that way still. K didn't drink she just wanted to go to bed at 11pm again. We walk back to Flamingo Hubs and I stay up for a bit and the others go to bed.

We played a little 3 card, a little BJ, I played a little more Hot Shots.....
I know he was still doing good he had me going to the cashier for him every 15 mins with amounts ranging from $75-$450 in chips. I did that for him 4 or 5 times so I sat by him for a min, got a Baileys & Coffee since it seemed like we were going to be up for a while... I really liked their coffee....I don't know why I remember that so well, but I loved it and only had that one the whole trip!
I think I have ADD Sorry.
SO hes making out pretty well, and hands me $10 in chips, I was going to place a bet on roulette, instead I cash it out stick it in a a random machine and hit for $35! lol the little things that excite me. I show him, he hands me his final stack, its $675 to go cash in. ( I think he may have lost some of what I cashed in before) I head over there and make a pit stop to play with my $35 in a different Hot Shot machine and what do you know, it still took my $$!!
Head back to hubs and he has nothing in front of him but the money I just gave him so he said he was down so that meant bed time.

a little observations before I end today

*Way too many strollers on casino floors.
*Porn Slappers are a lot less annoying than in previous times
*Didn't get approached by one time share person yet
*The CW are NOT as good on strip as our usual Gold Coast
*Flamingo needs more than just the one bathroom on the casino floor
    *NO issues with the smell
*A LOT of people don't use common sense when walking the strip. AT ALL
    *Construction is really annoying
*The first night we went to bed later than the others and we noticed loud club like music in our room; not sure what that was.

    Forgot to add some pics

Hubs and D packed the same swim suit, so that was fun! I don't know how I forgot about that!

Since this is taking forever to complete...
    Monday.. the 2nd
Started our 24 hrs of Buffets @ Paris, Loved it, we were only there for MAYBE 10 mins. Our fiends had been at the pool since 8, but we couldn't start the pass til 10am, being Labor Day. Gambled a little while we waited....I think I broke even there after an impressive free spin bonus on a game Id never usually play but it was right by the TR desk while we waited....Hubs won a little in BJ then lost a LOT in slots.

Back @ the Pool, SO MUCH FUN, I cannot get over the fact that we had been missing out on that scene every time we go!! Stayed there til about 4,

Go get changed-wait for everyone at the tables, I played a little 3 card lost $50 quickly, moved over to BJ where I couldn't lose. won that $50 back and then some. But after being up $100 I cashed out. I was so sick of the 6:5 BS anyways...swore off BJ here!! Not before hubs ordered us all shots of tequila. This server made like $50 off us in maybe 15 mins.... We were all a little drunk already and kept throwing reds on her tray. it was fun. But the girls didn't want to take he shot so hubs took 2 and then tried to pawn ot off on some people walking by... we got rid of it eventually but people are kinds skeptic of taking shots from strangers ( I guess I would be too)

Lunch/Dinner (I guess) @ PH Buffet.... I was pretty intoxicated at this point so I don't remember how it was. I was told everyone loved it tho.

Walked over to redeem our MyVegas BYGO Yard Drinks at the PH Shops..
    Yummy!

Head over to Monte Carlo to check in to our free room, also from MyVegas. We were going to walk it, but decided on a cab instead. The cab driver didn't know where Monte Carlo was, I was super shocked. So we tell him just NORTH OF MGM, he turn North on the Strip..ugh.
So that's a fun story we shared with all the other drivers we encountered!
Finally got a strip view, but they kinda suck at MC...

The couple is napping at Flamingo still and J Decided she wanted to nap before Fremont too....

This is where our bad luck continues.

Hubs & I go play BJ, I think I won 1 hand, but my $100 was gone in minutes.
Hubs is chasing at this point, I cannot watch-
I go find HotShots, this damn machine will kill me.

Played a little, got a couple bottles of water and then hubs joins me. doesn't say anything so I know its bad.

lose more in the damn machine, so we call J and shes not up yet neither are the couple...To our room we go, wake her up and get a cab to Fremont, the Couple is on their own.

Loved the classic slot area but couldn't hit anything, got a beer tho :) we shouldn't have gambled today, it was BAD.

J loved the show and the whole DT experience more than the strip.
I didn't see as many bums and beggers as I thought I would down there.

Get back to Flamingo around 930ish, decided to get tix to XBurlesque... last GA seats left, so were headed to the very back, which isn't too bad, its a small theater, but I slipped the guy a $20 and there we were right in front!
Loved the show, it was my first burlesque show, so I didn't know exactly what to expect. If you're into them, id recommend this one!

Back to the tables at around 1130pm hubs said he was doing good when I wasn't around, but I had to come back to tell him it was ALMOST midnight, therefor it was ALMOST my Birthday!!

Midnight comes and goes... hes still playing and losing while im there so I walk over to the other pit and I don't want to play anything, so I sit at a bartop order another Corona and play some VP for about an hour until Hubs tells me we have to go to bed...

Turns out he was doing so good until today, where he lost almost everything he came with.

    More to come...Soon...I hope!!

He lost his trip roll in one day? Ugh. Hope I never do that (and I can be a loss chaser). Thanks for sharing!
