    I live in the San Francisco bay area, but my heart belongs in Vega$. I make an effort to get out to Vegas at least once a year, by land or by air. Much of my youth was spent on amazing 8-hour road trips to the fabulous Las Vegas lights.

    I can't belive it took me this long to find this board, but I am glad that I did :wave:

    Welcome!!! I went to high-school in Pleasanton and love The Bay... second only to my love for Vegas.

    Hi :wave:

    Since the Vegas bug hit us, my husband and I have made that drive quite a few times. It doesn't seem so long on the way to Vegas but the drive home sure seems to take forever.

    If you spend to much time on this board you'll find yourself wanting to head to Vegas more than 1x a year.

    Damn good thing it's not just an 8 hour drive from me...Welcome aboard.

    As stated earlier I don't know how you only live 8 hours away and only get there once a year though...But this website will cure that...You'll love it here. :beer:

    Let me re-phrase, the 1 time a year is minimum! I've actually gone 3x in 2013 and have a flight booked for the third weekend of October :peace:

    I also lived in Pleasanton, CA but I get to Vegas more times per year now while living in Chicago. I guess I really need the climate change now!

    welcome to the board yea im los angeles and go to las vegas 3/4 times a year just got back labor day cant wait going back newyears since im retired I will be moving there soon a lot cheaper than la :licklips::licklips:
