just got back from palazzo. nice trip but the strip view is a joke. saw TI and Trump and that's it. i guess technically it is a view of the strip but what a waste of $$. tried to change but they gave us a hassle.

I agree---especially when they charge more for a strip view. I actually prefer the Wynn golf view room.

If you stay in the wing furthest away from LVBLVD and are up high enough facing South, those are probably the best views available there.

Agreed. I just got back from Wynn and had the same view. It was nice to be high up, but the only interesting part of the view was watching the storms roll in Friday afternoon.

I've stayed there before, and have found Strip Views were not very good. Did find that having a room opposite the Strip (facing the Wynn golf course / mountains) was much better than expected.

I agree with this and will be declining the strip view upgrade they usually give me.

We had a great view of the golf course this trip, and a bird's eye view of the show at TI the last trip. Living right is the best revenge! :D

I had one at the Trump a few weeks ago, while yes it was a strip view, if I was 30 floors higher it would of been spectacular... Luckily I didn't pay for the upgrade.

Some hotels just don't have a great vantage point.

That bend in the Strip kinda hurts the Palazzo Strip views. Looking east is a great view, the Strip view is disappointing if that's your cup of tea.

If you have room in your suitcase, take your binoculars and watch the Tramps of TI show.

I have to agree. We received one of these rooms during our last trip in May. Far superior of a view than the rooms facing the Strip. When facing south you get a view of all of the hotel towers. I've stayed in both using the $20 trick and I will forever request a south facing room high up. You have to be high up in order to see over the Venetian. But this is the worthy room, so request one of these.
