A friend of mine is in Vegas now and heard about the LVH (old Hilton) running a promo called raid the vault. It reads that they are giving away a chance at over $10 million in cash. Being the Hilton, and assuming not many people will participate they dug a little further. Turns out you earn credits that can be played on a megabucks machine! How big of a cop out is that? So you win $12.00 in comp money (or whatever it is) and they stick that in a normal megabucks machine and viola! There is your chance to win 10 mil! Its not like they are fronting the money. So every casino in town can run a $10 Mil promo if they word it correctly! Just thought it was funny and I wanted to share.
Anybody else remember that cool promo they had in the Star Trek casino where you got up on a podium and pressed buttons and stars lit up in the ceiling and shit? You had to get something like 7 or 8 2:1 decisions in a row to have a chance at the vault. And you got better prizes like foam beer holders or useless medallions based on how far you got?
