Wait, so you're telling me Steve Wynn will give you free nights, but the El Cortez will merely give you a discount?? Well, there goes any future chance of me giving up my comfy rooms on the Strip to stay downtown!

I know, it's unfathomable. The El Cortez stiffed me with those lame offers for quite a while, then did offer some free nights, and now we're back to lame-o again.

Perhaps they have a bias against [STRIKE]degenerate[/STRIKE] savvy gamblers.

    Thanks! :)

I had a nice picture of Jimmy Poon holding Chippy but I'm not sure if it didn't get deleted off my knockoff iPhone so I could take more pictures of quads.

Continuing to crank the pre-vegas excitement here in Saskatchewan!!!

What better way to prepare for the 8 G acceleration rush of gambling Las Vegas style than with the Pedal Tractor Farm?!

Back from Saskatchewan. My next trip will be to somewhere a little more exciting... :)

I was thinking of maybe staying a couple of nights at the D - never stayed there - but geez, they are putting up a $20 resort fee. (See the thread on this.)

    What are they thinking???

The actual actual trip, not the Saskatchewan trip, nor the fake Vegas pre-trip, nor the real Vegas pre-trip, and not the post-trip but the actual actual trip starts... in about a week and a half.

Meanwhile, for those Canadians interested in a reasonable cell service in the US, I got my Roam Mobility working yesterday.

It seemed to work just fine even though I was miles from a cell tower, and still in Canada.

    Yes, that.

When you're using your Roam Mobility SIM card, are you able to have the same number? So that friends and loved ones can contact you and not have to have multiple numbers stored in their phones and guess which one is working and you're holding at that moment? Do you still have the ability to take high res NiPhone photos of quads at the Boars Head Bar and/or high res pics of ISGs?

Nope, you get a separate US number. You keep it a year from the date of your last purchase.

You can definitely take stalker pics of Island Senior Girlfriends at the Cal though.

Here's a primer on how to keep the trip costs down by maximizing comps for the quarter player.

    http://www.royalflushervegas.com/2013/08/how-to-stay-free-in-vegas-part-4-comp.html

One of the things I'd like to do is play more 50cent and dollar denom stuff but when you hit anything over $1200 you, as a Canuck, get dinged that nasty 30% tax.

I think maybe 50 cent DDB is the way to go - there's some good sized premium quads, and the Aces with kicker is $1000 - only the Royal triggers the tax on the $2000 hit. I may try that more this trip - it sure paid off last time at T.I.
