Is there any gambling reason to go to either of these casinos? It seems like the other downtown casinos have offers but I haven't seen anything at these casinos to make me what to go there. May go to Cal for Pasta Pirate 2-1 but that is only reason.

The Fremont has 99.95% Pickem Poker machines, and $3 craps/blackjack.

I did see the $3 bj and craps but wondered if they were packed all of the time.

I like Aloha Specialties and think the $10 prime rib deal, including desert, is an underrated bargain. Granted, Market Street is not the fanciest place in Vegas.

The "beauty" of downtown is you can have one place for your home base (GN) and then " do 'em ALL"!!!

Eat and play VP at Cal. Play table games at Fremont.

The Market Street Cafe Prime Rib special for $10 is an awesome value especially since it includes all-u-can-gorge salad bar as well as dessert. I'm still partial to Magnolia's Prime Rib special at 4Q because I love the gumbo soup it comes with and the cut of meat is slightly larger. I'll probably enjoy both when I'm there in 2 weeks!

Progressive Royal at the Main Street Bar got my attention. Just passing through to get to MSS Boars Head Bar and there maybe ten minutes.

    Now a regular stop

Main Street Station will get a long visit. I want to try all of the brews and would like to get some scratch off tickets!

We like those nickel machines on the left by Tony Romas at the Fremont. They have been good to us!

Also, those scratch tickets at MSS... just fun!

I'm sure the answer to this is somewhere on this board, but I'm just not seeing.

Can someone explain the scratch offs at MSS to me? How do you get them? What are they for, etc?

Thanks. Sorry if this is a dumb question

Say hello to Kelli for me. I think Jose is still in Costa Rica for his annual vacation.

I second that! Both of them are great, but Boyds best is MSS. The brew pub and the buffet for starters. The odds on craps and full pay VP.

when you get a quad, hit the help button and show the attendant the quad and they will give you a ticket that you scratch off for $2 to $500. Good Luck

It's always interesting that they stand there and watch you scratch it, anyone know why?
