Believe it or not, just started watching on Netflix. Started with pilot and am going episode by episode, some days 5 episodes a day. Up to middle of season 4, have to get caught up to new epsiodes. I don't want to find out how it all ends without being caught up, it will be like being half way through a book then reading the last page. Show is so addicting.

I'm right there with you zamboni! I just started watching it last week and am on season 2. Everyone always talks about this show but I never watched. Damn its addicting as hell. I will get in a marathon session today or tomorrow. I hear it gets better and better too.

It's even better than Soprano's in terms of the intricacies and layers of the stories and the whole unraveling. And Soprano's is way up there for me. It's blowing me away. Sons of Anarchy is a close 3rd with how they're following Hamlet.

I believe it is rated a 9.8 out of 10 with over 215,000 votes on IMDB. That is mind blowing.

Looks like I gotta get started on this show... my friend tells me it's his favorite show EVER! And I find out about it, when it's on its last season... I really gotta come outta the ether.

I just started watching it this year. Got caught up through Netflix streaming and am up to date. Thought it was slow at times but really like it and can't wait for the last few episodes!

I just started watching it, it is very easy to get caught up, and very easy to watch 5-6 episodes in one sitting, it is that addicting. Like I said, I would do it now, before the finale. I know you really don't want to hear how it all ends before you get caught up.

Yeah but even when it's slow, there's still a lot going on in terms of the unraveling of the story. We went back and re-watched it from the start before the season started. There's things we missed the first time through.

I hope Walt ends up on top in the end, I know he wont but that would be good, cant stand Jesse anymore, or Skylar for that matter.

    Please, please

Please people don't give anything away for those who just started watching the series. We're only at the end of season 3.

For those of us who are up to date on the show, should we start another thread so that we can talk about the current things going on without giving away spoilers?

New thread posted for those of us that are up to date and don't want to spoil it for anybody. Hopefully Sonya allows two threads open on the same topic that way we don't have to worry about spoiling anything.

I think the first season of Mad Men was pretty good, now I am bored with it. It is nothing more than a soap opera, but my wife still likes it, so we continue to watch and are caught up.
Haven't seen either of the other two you mentioned.

Are you asking what to watch next? Because you can watch both, nobody's going to stop you. I watch both. In terms of what has more punch? Sons, no doubt. Mad Men is more subtle but there's definitely stuff going on in Mad Men.
