So this past trip I took in February I won a decent amount but I also spent double what I normally would. Now it's fall and I have no corporate offers and no mailers from my home casino. Is this normal? I figured they would offer me at least the same, especially since I dropped more this time around. In contrast, Cosmo is offering me free rooms.

Let me guess...was this an MGM property? On my recent trip, I stayed at Bellagio. I ended up winning for the trip and when I went to the table games host on duty, he said "looks like you won a little bit this trip. I can apply your Express Comps but cannot offer any additional comps to cover your room charges". Maybe they are tightening up on the comps.

This is exactly the reason no one should feel bad taking advantage of hotel up front comps even if they don't think they will play at their normal level. all the sudden you play at a higher level then normal and because you took home money they offer nothing. it is a gamble for both sides.

I wouldn't necessarily expect they would provide any comps at the end of your winning trip, but I would think that you would receive free room offers when you get home because they want you back to have a chance to get their money back.

After all, the house has the advantage and the more you play the more likely you will lose.

Comps are all based on theo. But they tend to be more liberal with discretionary comps when you lose. As far as offers that wouldn't be based at all on your resort spend but entirely on your theo. Of course that assumes corporate offers have any sense to them which they don't.

This is the Aria. Finally got an offer but it's the same as usual.

    But they should...

Comps should only be based on theo not actual loss unless you lose.

Certainly you can see significant discretionary comps at the end of a winning trip when larger than expected theo was generated. You just tend to see more back end comps with the same theo after a big losing trip.

    What games did you play?
If slots you may have been playing the wrong machines. Yes, you could have easily gambled twice as much as you usually do but play the wrong machine and in their eyes you gambled less. It happened to me and why we switched from MLife. We knew we were gambling more and more each trip but their offers were getting smaller and smaller.

On our trip before we flipped we inquired about comps and they too mentioned that we "sort of did ok this trip" and can't comp anything else. That is what finally did it for us.

I been playing slots. I feel like my theo must have went up. My express comps was a lot higher this trip as well. Don't the two coorelate? Where do you play now LV Bound?
