My wife and I are going to Vegas in October. We are both in our 40's and love dancing, but don't like the club type atmosphere or music. Is there dance clubs for the middle aged?
Cleopatras Barge at Ceasars palace I think is a nice place to go. I also think that foundation room at Mandalay Bay is another good place
My husband and some friends happened upon a little club in the Paris. It's more like a bar. It's off to the side and plays some super fun music. We are in our 40s/50s and danced all night. My friends had gone upstairs to the club that caters to the younger crowd and ended up liking this smaller club much better. They had a live band but played music that your (my) age group likes. A little later in the evening (like 12-1-ish) it turned in to Latin music. That was SO much fun. Luckilly we had a Latin lover with us who swung me around the dance floor a couple of times. I didn't have a clue but he sure did. Too bad he was someone else's husband...LOL.
We're old clubbers, but there is something like apratt0905 said in the Palms, called View. I think they have a Latin night, but some of the music may be a little poppy for you. If you want, I can put you in touch with my promoter. schwaiguy
Is this Le Cabaret lounge? In the corner off the main casino with overhead lights and trees and a bar at the end of the area. Was it a DJ or a band? We are thinking of checking it out on our next trip. The Indigo Lounge at Bally's is another good spot for the over 40's dancing and music crowd. Missing the Fontana Room at Bellagio again
The one is right next to a big bar at the end of blackjack tables is ok. Live music, the other night there was a female singer and a lot of older people sitting and younger people dancing. They play music according to the crowd
Yes, that's the name..Le Cabaret. It's the funniest thing, too...there's a security guard named Wyatt who roams the Paris floors...he's goofy but a super guy. He likes to roam in and out of the club and dance a little...he's really fun. Wish I had taken a picture with him. Hope he's still there when you go. He acts like he's your best friend ever. It's nice touch for the otherwise weird and random, sometimes rude Vegas workers.
Places My list Indogo at Bally's Cleopathra at Ceaears Gillys at TI Revolver AR Santa Fe Roxy's at Sams Town Bourbon street cabaret at the Orleans
