    Hello all!

I recently made mLife Platinum status on my recent trip to vegas. When I asked about the benefits available, the agent just handed me the info card for the various tiers and went over that with me. I had heard there were other perks available but all the info I have found in my online search have been from 2011/2012. Does anyone have any updated "unadvertised" perks of being an mLife Platinum member?

    Thanks!

These aren't really documented anywhere, as these aren't perks coming from M Life, but the individual casinos. A few I know of are entry into the Mirage Secret Gardens, I also think the MB Shark Reef and the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Arts.

Offers are always personalized to your play that are "unadvertised". My father is platinum but he makes about 8-10 trips to Vegas a year and strictly plays low limit slots with a $1500 bankroll for a couple days. His best offers are usually 3 comp nights at MGM or MB/THEhotel and a couple free concert tickets.... the best perk for platinum IMO is the priority taxi service, skipping massive lines during conventions almost feels wrong lol.

Couldn't agree more, KBT2012 -- priority taxi line service is the best perk. Love being able to skip the long lines on weekends. I've also found you can get free late checkout anytime you want it.

Yep. This is the one I use ALL THE TIME. Especially on Friday and Saturday evening when you're going out for dinner. It's awesome just to walk up to the front of a long line of people and flash your platinum card to the taxi guy and get the next taxi available.

The free entry to exhibits is okay, but I usually give those tickets away to people.

You all consider priority taxi service better than a free cruise? Sorry, that's my favorite perk. I liked cruising so much that I've decided to blow off Vegas this fall, and take another cruise.

In addition to Taxi line pass I like the separate line for the buffet and coffee shop.

I've been on 7 cruises and only one on Royal Caribbean.
The ship was nice but the casino was not.BJ game was poor and craps had single odds.
Both NCL and Celebrity, which is Royal Caribbean's upscale sister had 3/4/5 times odds. They also had free drinks in the casino for players where Royal Caribbean did not.
As a platinum I only get a 4 night cruise and when I go on a cruise I like at least 7 nights.
I know a couple junket hosts who will book me on either of those lines comped with better gambling and free drinks while playing.
So give me the line pass in Vegas as weird as it sounds compared to a cruise.

Free entry to the Shark Reef and it's not limited to 2 ppl like the person above said. I showed it when I had it and was able to get 4 of us in free.

You can also show the platinum card and get in to the Mandalay Bay pool complex, at least when I had it I could, don't know if they have changed that.

You can also go in to the VIP lounge areas at Excal, Luxor, Mirage and where ever else they have them.

Front of line Valet with Platinum and Noir, when you show it they will give you a bright neon green tag.

The line pass is valuable to me, especially when you're eating at Bellagio at peak hours. Then again, most all of the perks you get with the platinum card can be had with a well placed $10-$20 tip. Want to skip a long cab line? Tip a bellman $10 inside the hotel and watch him walk you to the front and put you in a cab. Capitalism. Gotta love it.

This was my first cruise, so I really didn't have anything to compare it to. I will have to give Celebrity a try, as the casino on the RC cruise was pretty small and I didn't win a plug nickel - which was no surprise. Still loved cruising though, and will definitely be taking advantage of my free M Life one next year.

How soon after reaching platinum did you get the invitation for the free cruise and was it via mail or something else? Thanks!

I got an official e-mail on 5/17/13. That's when the program was started though. I am not sure if you have recently earned Platinum when you would get notification. You can call 866-562-7625 to check. I'm not exactly sure how it works. I took my cruise this year already - but have earned Platinum for next year as well, so I don't know when we will be able to book that cruise.

One other perk of Platinum is that (when it's working), you can book rooms at a 20% discount on the MLife website.

Now, at any given time, almost all of the MGM properties will have publicly available offer codes for 20% off. But for most of those offer codes, not all room types will be available in the booking engine.

So for example, if you want a Corner Suite City View at Aria, you won't be able to book that using a regular offer code - you'd have to book a regular Corner Suite and hope to swing something at check-in.

But on the MLife web site, you can book the City View straight up, so when you arrive, that's what your reservation printout says.

I must be special then, because my tier discount is 25% :)
