Just wondered how progress was coming on The Grand (old Lady Luck)? The last I read it was supposed to open maybe the end of September. Anyone know if this is still the case? I'd love to be able to check it out on our next trip.

    Thanks.

I am a little surprised at the lack of fitness center or spa. My hopes are not real high for this place, simply because I am not at all a fan of the Fontainebleau furnishings. I will definitely stay there at least once for memories sake.

I signed up their player card online yesterday, and just received a E-mail from them :"enjoy one drink at mob bar on us....".

    Thanks for the link Lolly.

I don't know if I would take this place over GN. It seems like they overlooked important amenities.

I don't know if I could really feel at home there. It just looks way too trendy for my taste, downtown to me isn't about all that IMO.

I wonder how "Grand" the cost will be to stay there.

Prices are up on the Choice Hotels website. Not unreasonable to me, about the same as Golden Nugget.
