We joined myvegas with the specific purpose of getting Jabbawockeez tickets and finally accomplished that a few days ago.

We're wondering what to do with our remains points. I've got around 30k to spend so I'm not sure if I just just get some food items or do something else interesting while we're in town.

I've never been to either the Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay or Secret Garden at Mirage. Are either of those worth cashing in points for? We won't have any children with us, but we don't mind that others would have their kids there.

I prefer Shark Reef, but personally I would use it on food or maybe monorail passes (depending on where you are staying)

My husband and I did both with the MyVegas comps during our stay in February. I would NEVER recommend paying for either of these but if you can get rewards, and get in for free, that's a different story.

In my opinion, the shark reef is old and run down. The water looks like it needs changed for sure. It's nothing like you see in the picture (the beautiful blue water) and it just seems like it needs upgraded.

The secret garden...well, it's kind of like a small zoo but nothing to talk about.

If I were you, I wouldn't waste my time or rewards. Play a little longer and try to get something else.

Personally, I would use the points for food - the Mirage buffet is my favorite.

Even the monorail rides are much more valuable than these two attractions.

Oh ok, thank you for the input! We always rent a car as my wife doesn't drink much if at all so we won't need the monorail but it's still good to know it would be more valuable than either of the animal attractions.

I was leaning toward using the remaining points for food and that's probably what we'll end up doing. I'm not a big House of Blues guy, but since we have to go to Mandalay Bay for MJ:ONE anyway, I may grab some of the new food rewards there instead of the Reef or Garden.

I have paid full price to visit both and would do so again

I did prefer the secret garden

Nice change of pace from the casino for 20$ or so
