I have read on here that, since GN is regarded as the nicest downtown property, comps tend to be the hardest to come by. When posters mention that GN is stingy with comps, is that compared to other downtown casinos, or to Strip props as well?

Up to this point, I have played pretty much exclusively with CET. My trips are 3 or 4 nights, daily BR of about $500. Gaming split between VP and "carny" table games (3CP, C4P, UTH). With CET, lower level props are usually free, nicer props (Paris, PH) tend to be free Sun-Thurs with reduced rates on the weekends. Could I expect as good or better comps at GN with that level of play? What about other downtown casinos such as the D or the Boyd props?

If you are putting in 3-4 hours a day on that bankroll on VP, plus some table action, you would probably get fully comped (room, and some food, if not all food) at most of the other properties downtown.
