Love these: Lions OVER 49ers UNDER Seahawks UNDER A split at the least with 49ers and Seahawks is almost certain. I hope the lines don't move by the time I arrive in a month in LV.
These darn bookies are so accurate it is scary at times. I don't know about Green Bay and 13 wins this year. Minnesota- I would think Adrian Peterson alone would be good for 8 wins, but I only follow them twice a year, when they play the Packers. Good thing I can't make this type of bet online. I'm probably saving money.:evillaugh
Last year they had the 'phins at over/under 7. Well, the Dolphins finished with exactly seven. I was really impressed by the bookies.
The college basketball point totals are more impressive to me. They do a great job at most of the sports they list, but the number of times they can be dead on with college BB point totals (considering the roster changes from season to season, momentum in games, etc) is really impressive. But let's not get too crazy about the books NFL prognosticating. I have made money each of the past three seasons betting on team win totals (varying from a little to a lot). The line on New Orleans when I bet it last August was 11.5. I was happy to take the under and make a killing!
The Browns are interesting this season- smaller, smarter, faster. The new offense suits the QB better. But they'll get ground down by good running teams, and their kicking will lose them a couple close games they would have won in the past. They could do a lot better than 5 wins but it'll be a crapshoot. I would avoid them either way.
If I get to Las Vegas before the regular season starts, I am pouring money into the Chargers under 7. They have looked AWFUL this preseason. O-line is a disaster. They don't have any depth whatsoever anywhere on the field. This might be the best wager on the board. I would play it over 9.
The problem with the Chargers and the under is the schedule. With Jacksonville on the schedule and 2 games against the Chiefs and Raiders each, 7 isn't crazy
