    My Trip Report

    Hey Now!
We stayed at Resorts as usual.....
Had a blast- took advantage of the free offer match dealio at Revel, man they are really Jonesing for business. Big changes at Resorts since our last trip in Feb. Managed to hold on to most of our BR. Looked to be a few more people on the Boardwalk than last year. Not too sure if the gamboling will ever rebound to previous levels. Da Borg was packed again. Looks like the Marina district is doing better than the boardwalk....
    Here's the full report-

Thanks for the enjoyable report. You got around to several properties and didn't lose much. It's the best we can hope for some days.

Thanks for posting - sounds like you had a great time and had nice wins along the way.

I visited for the first time last year since the $29 junkets we took from Chicago in the late 1980s. My free trip (courtesy of the CET Total Rewards on line game offered last year - free except for taxes to DC and Springfield) was for a stay at the Marina, and I liked the hotels and casino in this area better than the boardwalk (but wished they were on the boardwalk as well). They have decent VP in AC and I liked being by the ocean.

Revel was dead when I visited on Friday evening. I left relatively quickly - wanted to check out the rest of the boardwalk and never considered returning. It's too far up the boardwalk.

Great report! Between all those pics and videos, it's amazing you had any time left for gambling! Say hi to Stretch from Vern.

I went to AC a few months ago and noticed they took down the famous, "Welcome to Atlantic City" on the AC Expressway coming into town. I was shocked and a little sad that it wasn't there.

Anyone know why they removed such an iconic sign? Maybe it was just that I missed it?... but I've been there countless times and was really looking forward to seeing it and I'm sure it wasn't there. Hmmm...

I haven't noticed it was missing but the last time I went down we didn't take the expressway, instead took rt. 30 which goes straight to Borgata/Harrahs. If they took it down hopefully its just for some maintenance, that sign could use some freshening up! I'll be there next week and keep an eye out though.

By the way Revel seems to be comping people like crazy. I've never played there but my brother did and it was just a couple hours of green chip blackjack total. He's getting tons of room offers, $100 freeplay chips, $100 resort credit vouchers that are even good for retail, and invites to random shit.

And not sure if you guys are hearing about it wherever you live but these big July promos they've been advertising everywhere, the $100k loss rebate and freeplay match, seem to be leading to another PR problem with charges of fraudulent advertising and a possible investigation into violations of FTC(?) regulations. Its such a nice property but these guys are seriously the gang that can't shoot straight.
