"a live appearance by Queen and Adam Lambert"

Being a big Freddie Mercury and Queen fan.....this has the potential of being a pretty good part of the show.

Other than that, I have to agree...I only see about 4 people I'd like to see but then I'm sure I'm not the demographic they're focusing on:poke:

I must concur. went to the Billboards a couple of years ago because we happened to be in town and wondered WTF I had gotten myself into. left before it was over. they don't make music like they used to ...

C'mon... that's a solid line up, no doubt. I like hip-hop too, but Lil Wayne's tremendously overrated IMHO and his little flag dancin' thing (that he recently eliminated from the video) isn't scorin' him any points either... but of course, he's not lookin' for approval from main-stream America or me for that matter!

Is it wrong that I would actually like to Queen with Adam Lambert? I'm no Idol fanboy, but if there is anyone who could come close to doing Freddy justice it's Adam Lambert.

Adam + Queen Here's a concert they did last year, it was pretty awesome!

Overall the show is a lie lol... they give away 85% of the tickets on the radio, 50% of the people show up, the rest is seatfillers. Maybe 10% of the tickets they sell and they are $650 each, per show. They try to make it this huge event, but you can't really buy tickets, it's weird. I tried the past 2 years and gave up it was such a mess. There really is no good way to go. Besides for $650 I'd rather pick 6 of my favorite artists on that list and pay for their individual concerts!

    Queen with Adam Lambert

I would have to strongly disagree with you. Adam Lambert's voice is no where near that of Marc Martel who sang in the Queen Tribute band. Lambert's range is sorely lacking although he gives it a good try. Not sure why Queen didn't sign Martel up for future gigs if any as he has a vastly superior range than Lambert but of course he has very little notoriety.

Check out some of Martel's youtube videos or perhaps the Queen tribute band put together by the original Queen drummer.

    no availability

Hmm this seems like a hot show. No tickets avail as of now. I will have to keep my eye open as I am interested in going.
Sometimes ticketmaster releases tickets closer to the date :)

not a chance. it sells out in 10 minutes every year mostly because the casinos snatch up most of the tickets.
