    Hey All,

About a year ago last April my wife fell in love with a Deal or No Deal Machine in the Golden Nugget.

Not a slot machine....a machine where you play the game and pick briefcases.

So, does the GN still have it?? Anyone else downtown have it...NOT the slot machine but the game?

    Thanks!!!

Still there. My brother went and stayed at GN in May and also played it.

Can someone tell me about this deal or no deal machine that isn't a slot machine? I dint think I've ever seen it. I've seen the one where you play the slot game and some combination of symbols triggers the deal or no deal game, but I've never seen a non slot version.

The one they are talking about is like a video poker machine, no reels, just briefcases on a video screen. It is fun

I seem to remember watching people at Monte Carlo playing this last year, to see how far people would go or mostly to see what the offers were given.
Not far from the Big green machine another poster was looking for.

You put your money in and spin the wheel. Say you are playing for $1. The amounts in the cases will go up every spin.

Once you spin and it lands on bonus then you pick the cases like the tv game.

If you are betting $1 per spin then the top amount will be like $65 or so. You can play like $15 or some crazy amount per spin and the value of the cases will be much higher of course.

You keep picking cases until you make a deal.

I was there the night they swapped out the Deal or No deal(by the Rush Tower) with some other giant contraption.

So it's gone from GN. I looked a day or so later elsewhere on the casino floor, but it was no where.

The catch is that you don't always get to choose briefcases.

Saw it for the first time..at Luxor. Put in $1.00 and ended up taking a deal around $11.00. Had to get somewhere so we left. We wanted to come back thinking it was easy money, that you could keep putting in $1.00 and take a deal for $10.00, $20.00+++.

That was too good to be true. We went back later and put $1.00 in, five separate times. It would not let us choose suitcases any of those times and we lost $5.00.
