I received an offer from a casino this week, so I called marketing and they beat the offer plus no resort fee. This resulted in a savings of over $20 pn. Do yourself a favor and call marketing you have nothing to lose. Good luck.

Weird you mention that. I was just thinking of doing the same on my lunch break.

Last year 5 nights at Paris was comped. This year it is running me $340 for 4 nights in mid August. Was considering calling the TR people and seeing if they can offer me anything better.

its always a good idea to call and talk to someone to see what they can do. even if you are booking through another site like expedia or hotels.com because of a good rate you can call the hotel to see if they can match or beat that price and save the commission. with cet if i book a comp room i call total rewards and ask if they can upgrade it to a room that wasnt showing comp online and sometimes they do,this is without a host.
