3 nights comped at Resorts. Gonna check out Jimmy Buffet's new digs- and find out what's left of the good VP. Taking advantage of Revel's comp match offer and loss rebate. 4x slot points at Borg, and some MP at Trump Plaza. Also need to go by Showboat to keep my Tier Points alive.... during 10 days in Vega$, I never went into a single CET joint.
Anybody else gonna be in AC next weekend???

We'll be there on Thurs.-just overnight. When are you coming? We'll be at Borgata for 4x points too. When you do the rebate thing at Revel, be sure to ask about how you get the rebate. Unless you plan to go back often, I don't think it's worth it. I think they give you $5/week for the next umpteen weeks.

    Hey Now!

We're grabbing the 4:15 ferry in Lewes on Thursday, so we should be getting into town around 6:30. We have some free play at the Borg, so we will be stopping in there first. Then we will head to Resorts. We might grab dinner at the Met while we are there. I tend to keep early hours. Always up by 6am...
No set plans for the rest of the weekend.

I will be in rehobeth beach and will probably catch the ferry from lewes. I have free plays from borgata for about 700 and about 750 from golden nugget with 150 towards food.

Let us know about the Margaritaville.

Walked passed there ,it was mobbed. To me anyway ,I never really liked places that gave me that touristy type vibe like Margaritaville,Hard Rock etc. I much prefer places like The Deck at GN that gives me more of a "locals" feel.

    Hey Now!

I agree about the locals thingy. I wasn't too happy about Resorts adding it, plus bringing in MS ownership. I won't go anywhere near anything chain related except around sunrise. I'll have to check out the GN Deck. Love watching the sunrise over Absecon Inlet. When in Vegas, I always favor the locals joints- EI, Terrible's, etc.

We're heading down there tomorrow afternoon

If you go on the GN website it gives you a listing of what specials and entertainment are on the Deck each day. Good luck next weekend, have a good time.

    What's the Met?

If you're at Resorts, check out the LandShark Bar & Grill, it is a beach side bar, I would think it might be less crowded on weekdays. I'm not big on chains either, but the great views might make up for it.

Revel has a July promotion, bring in slot offers from any AC casino and they will match them, one match per customer, per gaming day. $500 maximum match per offer. Revel card required. My bride has some free play from Tropicana and Atlantic Club and we plan on taking Revel up on the offer.

Went to Parx and Sugar House yesterday to use up some expiring free play. The highlight was a visit to Yards Brewery in Philly, a block away from Sugar House. Had the Extra Special Ale, Yards' first brew in 1994, it was excellent. Had a pint of Brawler, which was pretty good.

    Like that place also

On our rare visits to Borgata we usually get a table in the "fake outdoor cafe section". I love the VP bar there ,bartenders are nice ,the one guy loves to talk golf.

If you're going to be at the Borgata why not go to Harrahs next door for your CET play instead of Showboat? It has better VP, way nicer casino, much better scenery, vibe etc. Showboat kinda blows. But they do comp aggressively.

Also I believe on your first day there the CET casinos are doing a 10x RC multiplier. Not sure if its invite only but I don't think it is. I got flyers for it but also saw billboards for it yesterday. So try to take advantage of that, it's huge since multipliers are usually only 2-5x.

    Have fun and good luck!

    Did ok at GN yesterday.

Mrs JG hit 4 deuces for the second time in a little over week there at the VP bar. Used to play at Harrahs X Bar, ,but have been getting skunked there lately.
Very hot and humid outside on the deck ,but weather is supposed to break this weekend.Brought home a few bucks and ate and drank for free for two weeks in a row so probably go back soon.

    Hey Now!

I appreciate the heads up about the extra RC's.. Used to play at Harrah's when I was staying at the Borg. The only full pay VP less that $1 is in that triangle area- only 3 machines, hard to get on sometimes. I can hit the Showboat on the way to Revel.... Those 8 full pay machines there have Job, DDB, and BP.

Yeah I know which machines you're talking about. I've only been to the Showboat once, stopped in cuz I had an invite to a slot tournament for some reason. Funny thing was all the VP in the high limit room and elsewhere in the casino was packed and was all short-pay, yet I was one of the only ones in that small bank of full-pay machines. At Harrahs it seems the full-pay machines get occupied though, maybe they get a more knowledgeable crowd.

It doesn't matter though, I think once you swipe to activate the 10x multiplier its good for any RCs you earn that day at any of their properties over there. Just make sure to activate it on the 18th and double check that though. Good luck!

    Hey Now!

didn't make it to Showboat till Fri. anyhow. The room at Resorts wasn't ready when we got in, then after we finally got upstairs and the elevators stopped working. Full TR will be up by next week. Spoiler alert: no Royals this time.....

LOL looks as if the ghetto chicken place near nyc that I copied my username from, actually copied their name from these guys! Back when I joined this site some of us had this inside joke about that place so I used it as my username. Kind of like if someone wants a new job and you say "mcdonalds is hiring" as a joke, we would say "kickinchicken is hiring" because of something that happened.

    Mrs. JG strikes again !

Hit 4 deuces for the 3rd. week in a row at GN bartops. Had dinner out on the deck last night, nice night to hang outside .Not into C&W music, but what the hell, still a good time. For you PBR fans ,they had 16ozers for $4.
Have a friend who loves Royal Farms chicken wings ,has to have them when he drives thru Delaware.
