Comped rooms finally appeared under "reservations tab" for the new Jubilee rooms for our next trip.....Jubilee Luxury. Since I am Diamond status and we arrive on a Sunday....wonder what auto upgrade I might automatically be offered and if I might be able to slip a $20 to get a Jubilee suite??? Anxious to see what they've done to improve the old South tower. Wondering too how much mess we might find out front .... thinking I read that the construction of the shops may be underway in March. :):)

It is hard to understand how you can expect anyone to possibly answer this question when the Jubilee tower will not be open for a few months.

I booked a room in the South Tower back in Feb. for the 2nd week in Nov. comped and resort free. The South Tower has been my choice since forever. All of a sudden they changed me to North Classic since the announcement of the Jubilee rooms. I will be walking over to Bally's in 2 weeks (i'm staying at Caesars) and give them a piece of my mind. Since the Bally's escalators/walkways never work, it may take a couple of hours to get there.
I booked Bally's BEFORE anyone in the general public knew about the Jubilee rooms.

Sorry to bother you danky....just wondering since the rooms are now listed on the CET site. Have not ever stayed in a "new" room within a short time after they open. Thought someone might be Diamond status & have had experience with newer rooms in any CET hotel. Really just looking forward to staying in one.... :)

Waverunner....like you, I only had a North tower showing until this week.

Yes, let us know how it goes once the rooms are available.

Not sure what your piece of mind will do...

Now you are at Caesars? Do you realize how long a walk it is to EVERYTHING at Caesars??!!

Not sure what the broken walkways have to do with the North Tower/South Tower issue!

We have stayed in both towers; nearly always comped South & put into North at check in. Have always found North easy to to hit the strip by going out the north doors, take the steps down & cross over to Bills (or whatever it is now)...

Honestly, haven't entered Ballys using those walkways in years. In June we walked next to them & found it quite pleasant in the shade.

It's a general annoyance about the property and also an insight into how they value maintenance and customer satisfaction. On our last two trips (April and June) at least one of the walkways in/out of Bally's was out of order.

Ditto for the UP escalators at the Strip/Flamingo intersection.

Speaking of moving walkways, does that one-way one into the north end of the Caesars casino ever work?

The walkways at Bally's have been an inside joke on this board since....well.....forever.

Yes, i'm booked at Caesars in 2 weeks, and i have been to Caesars many times, but have never stayed there. Even though i can't walk around like i used to, i never asked about walking distance per say......just walking distance to the pool from the Forum Tower. I am booked at the Forum Tower and will gladly stay there, but since it's the pool season i would like to spend most of my time during the day at the pool. Apparently Appian Way is the main route from Forum Tower to pool, which is why i may try to upgrade to the Palace Tower. If my sandwich doesn't work then i'll gladly walk to the pool from the Forum Tower.
