so it looks like the Mlife website still isn't updating the tier credits.
I sent an email to ask them what was going on. They sent me a generic email

"Thank you for playing at ARIA. Due to account security we are unable to discuss M life account information via email. Please contact MGM Resorts Corporate Accounts Receivable Department at 1-866-275-5733. Once a representative has verified your account information they will be able to assist you in obtaining the information. Thank you & have a great day!"

has anyone contacted them before? I just wanted to know what I could expect.

Are you missing Tier Credit from play or purchases? I was shorted TC from purchases, but received credit for my play. I just emailed Corporate AR Support a copy of my folio and receipts and my account was updated less than 48 hours later.

    It was from play,

they seem to be missing a whole day of play somewhere.

It doesn't matter, I will lose my tier status either way, But the card will still work for the buffet and taxi lines.

Other than that I have been moving my play around too much lately.

How do you know they missed it? was it slots? tables?

The cards have expiration dates on them so they only work if the attendant doesn’t really look at it...would be super embarrassing to be turned away and sent to the back of the line since your Platinum card expired...

true, but I've only had one time that someone actually looked at the expiration date and actually looked at the name on the card and checked it with the picture. it was kind of weird. usually they just see the color and you're good.

Wow that is a little overboard to check someones ID to verify the MLife member in order cut a limo line haha.

I was mainly getting at the buffet line pass perk...since there is more of a delay to get seated than there is to jump in a cab, there is more opportunity for the attendant to verify the date. I was expect the attendant to say something along the lines of "This card is expired, I will allow the pass this time but you should go to MLife desk ASAP and get a new card to avoid any problems in the future." and not make you go to the back of the line...that would be poor service and make the hotel look bad.

As far as I can recall at MGM casinos I've only had to flash the card to get priority service. But at CET they scan it for most things and sometimes check against a picture ID. I used a CET shuttle in AC to travel between casinos once and the driver even had a handheld scanner to verify your card for priority seating.

I wouldn't be surprised if MGM eventually sets up that type of infrastructure. But even easier would be to just change the design of the card a little each year if they wanted to prevent abuse.

With CET, you used to be able to just flash the card as well, but I noticed in the last year or so, they are very "vigilant" about checking expiration dates and ID. Heck, even some of the valet guys now ask for ID.

What annoys me though is that my 7 stars card has my picture in the back, and about 95% of the employees will be OK with that, but I run into a couple every now and then who would still insist on seeing my ID.

I guess it's a good thing that they are doing this as anybody can just use someone else's card or get perks designed for people who have "earned" those perks.
