I am staying at Harrah's on a solo trip. I enjoy eating at a bar, Applebee's is one of my favorites. Something not extremely loud, good food, not to expensive. The scenery should be of TV's, beautiful ladies, and/or people watching.

    Any recommendations?

Across the street at Mirage is Stack. I eat here every trip. You mentioned scenery of Beautiful ladies and Stack will not disappoint. Average ticket is $50.

    Depends on the company, sometimes

We used to eat at the bar at Isla in TI, but it's toast now. I haven't see what's replacing it yet, but if they have the same bartenders, they're really nice folks and fun to hang with. Last time, we ate at the bar in another restaurant there at TI, but I can't remember the name of it. Not great scenery, so to speak, but fun bartenders and the other folks that were eating at the bar were fun, too. We all had the bartenders making us drinks we'd never tried before. The food was pretty good as well. It's kind of in front of that hallway that leads to the tram over to the Mirage.

We ate at the outdoor bar at Carlos & Charlies over at the Flamingo a couple of times (I think that's the name) last year. Better scenery than at TI. The bartenders and other customers were fun there as well. A little more flair and kid-like stuff going on, so probably has a little younger crowd. I think the wife had a crush on one of the bartenders. The food was pretty average mexican food. Nothing to write home about but certainly not bad. Drinks were good, but not as good as at Isla.

The only other "bar" we've eaten at is the taco and margarita place in Bally's. Not sure if it's actually a bar. I don't recall anything in particular about the scenery, so might not be up to your standards. The food and drinks aren't necessarily great. I'd label them serviceable.

Don't know if that helps, but it's what I know so far.

Thanks for info. Yeah I have ate at Carlos & Charlies.

I plan on playing a day of poker at Aria. Anyplace like that there?

Other places in my poker run will be Planet Hollywood (reserving hunger for Earl of Sandwich) and Caesars. Any bar food at Caesars?

    Thanks,
    Scott

Yep, came here to post this. Not even remotely comparable to Applebee's, but great food, plenty of TVs, fantastic drinks, and definitely some quality scenery.

I would recommend the P.U.B. just outside Aria in Crystals. I had some decent bar grub there last trip and the people watching is pretty decent.

The other reason I like Aria - you are a stone's throw from the people-watching orgy at Cosmo.

Absolutely my favorite part of Vegas, people watching. I sit outside the hotel at 2:00 am and just watch the drunks. I had a great time one time following the COPS show around late at night. Put a camera in front of the drunks and you got a show.

I ate at Gordon Ramsay Pub at Caesars about a month ago, food was good, but it was (IMHO) a little overpriced for what you got on the plate. It is in the Forum casino, near the food court.

The "pub" was more like a restaurant atmosphere than pub atmosphere, although there were people hanging out at the 2 bars drinking and eating, no real eyecandy!!
