Anyone play high limit slots at Bellagio? What are the lower limits in there? I've got $250 in Freeplay, that I'll top off with a few hundred cash, that I'd like to run through in there when we arrive on Thursday. $5? $10?

Vpfree says they have 9/6 job in the high limit room in amounts of $2, $5, $10, $25 and $100

Second the previous post. You won't get better odds than that on a machine at Bellagio. Be sure you are playing a 9/6 Jacks or Better game, and always bet 5 coins.

It would be worthwhile to get your hands on a JOB strategy chart and use it. Go to wizardofodds.com, find the heading Game Odds and Strategies, and click Video Poker. Under Playing Strategy, click Jacks or Better Simple Strategy. Copy and paste it into a word processor. You are allowed to use a strategy sheet in the casino.

Thanks for the JoB tips! Haven't played a lot of VP. Why not learn with mostly free money, right?

I play $5 JoB, the ones in the Bellagio high limit slot area aren't normal single line. Those are outside the room. Inside its spin poker and things like that, where you can do much more than $25 per spin.

Don't count on the $250 freeplay to provide much learning time for $5 VP. That's 10 hands worth, it can last only a minute or two. But at the same time if you hit a decent hand early you can turn it into several hundred bucks with better likelihood than you could on any other game.

    Good luck!

Very few $5 machines in the high limit room if I remember. There are many just outside it, between high limit and room elevators.

Good additional information about locations. I have not played at Bellagio since they took out the dollar full pay machines, which are at the top of my comfort zone.

You can check vpfree2.com to find exact machine types and locations at Bellagio or just about anywhere.
