I think this will be a fun thread, but I'm also looking to expand my horizon on what drinks to order. What type of drinks do you order at the casinos?

In the mornings? First few drinks are the generic "energy drink" red-bull copy-cat that the casino serves. After that, it's light beer until after breakfast....then it's gin & tonic with a lime for most of the rest of the day.

I will periodically order a bloody-mary in the morning...especially at the Nugget, as they seem to be one of the few places that understands bloody-mary's are supposed to be spicy!

When I first went to Vegas I was young and shy and only ordered Bud Light. It seems like I can order much, much more, including energy drinks while gambling? Thanks.

The only time I drink in a casino is at the sports book or playing floor or bar top slots. Watching a game or pulling a handle doesn't require as much attention or thought as table games do. I usually don't drink at the tables. I may get one if the timing is right on departure. So for me it's scotch and soda during the afternoon and latter in the night. A dry Rob Roy on the rocks, at a cocktail venue or with dinner. I'm not much of a beer or wine drinker. Coffee in the mornings or just plain water.

I pretty much order whatever I'm in the mood for.

Grey Goose - Red Bull when I'm dragging (this happens more frequently as the trip progresses and the lack of sleep and excess of booze and stimulation catch up with me).

In warm weather, I usually go with Gin and Tonic (I prefer Plymouth if the casino stocks it) or maybe a Greyhound (Goose or Ketel One hopefully) in the morning.

As the mercury falls, I tend to go with darker booze - Bourbon, Scotch, sometimes Irish Whisky - I usually have an idea what brands I can get based on what I'm betting and the casino I'm in. I'll obviously order the best I feel they'll give me.

I usually only order beer if I know the casino has something other than the standard mega-brews. Usually you can get a Sam Adams, Fat Tire, Sierra Nevada or Blue Moon - I'm cool with any of those. If I'm at MSS, I'll usually work my way through their menu of brews!

In recent years I'll usually order bottled beer, often Bud Light, when playing. They can't water it down and they can't fill the glass up with ice and skimp on the portion. :)

Jack and Coke (not Pepsi)... only thing I drink. One of the nice things about being a property "regular" is that many of the bartenders have the drink made and at my regular VP machine, as they see me comin'!

Usually a Triple Baileys on the Rocks or Bloody in the AM....Then it all depends what im in the mood for, Captain & Coke, Corona, Vodka&Energy drink...
However, I do like to get those yard drinks every now and again and when im near the end, ill order a shot of the liquor that's in it...which is dangerous!

If you mean what do I order while gambling, usually I will stop by one of the bars to see what liquor is available, and then at my table or machine I will order the best and/or most expensive item I saw.

Some casinos will pour decent wine, I am told, but I have not experienced it.

I don't drink beer in a casino because the kind of beer I like best is not always available, and just one makes me sleepy if I am not eating a meal.

Otherwise, water. The coffee servers bring is too small a serving and often poor quality. I'd rather get my own.

Venti iced coffee from Starbucks or a the biggest soda available from the gas station convenience store. I hate waiting on waitresses.
