O.k which one of you slobbos has eaten there for free? :evillaugh Kidding, of course...But feel free to admit it. I will probably have lost well over 100 pounds by the time my trip to Vegas comes around in November. So I'm kind of looking to destroy my diet once a day for a few days - who the fuck goes to Vegas to pinch pennies and count calories anyway? So the pig outs that I'll allow myself have to be worth it. Food porn epic worth it.. What say you VMB?

    Cheers!

This has been discussed on here a couple times, so there's lots of info and opinions on it. I maintain it's worth a visit for the "experience". I've been there twice... once when I wanted to try it out and another time when a friend I was with wanted to check it out. I thought it was OK, nothing great but worth the visit. Others from the last go-round about the place seemed pretty disappointed in the food taste and quality.

BTW... congratulations on the weight!!!! Good for you!!!! As a person who struggles with "weight issues" (my way of sayin' I'm a porker) I can appreciate the effort you've put forth.

P.S. I'm not so big I got it free though!

Well, this slobbo did eat there for free. Liked the burger, and the ice cream that passes for a shake. I found the fries pretty tasteless.

Not bad at all if you're drunk and it is late downtown (or you weigh 350+, like me). Makes for a good facebook photo, I suppose, but it should be done for a joke, rather than as a destination.

Thanks smarty. I appreciate it. It's been a struggle but I woke up one day with a 60 in waist and staring at waaaaay over 3 bills on the scale and decided to hell with this shit enough was enough. Got into power walking and Paleo eating, and it changed my life. One of my biggest achilles heels is burgers dude. I freakin' love 'em!!! Big burgers, big boobs  all in one place. I'll allow myself ONE cheat meal a day over there, so more research is gonna have to go into this.

Thanks Money. Better burger destinations perhaps?

Congrats on the results Gino. You probably know this but you can eat burgers on paleo, just not the bread. Ideally good grass-fed beef and there are paleo "breads" but they don't have any grains so probably suck. Paleo is popular and I know a lot of hard core fitness guys that swear by it but the truth is its always good to shock your system occasionally. So you don't even have to consider those to be cheat meals. They are part of the plan and I bet you'll actually notice faster results once you go back to cleaner eating.

If this is a once a day off diet thing while in Vegas, I'd hit one of the many really good burger joints. There's a bunch of really good burgers in Vegas these days. Google Vegas Burger Reviews. You'll want to be in Vegas hitting these places by the time your done reading the reviews.

You can do much better than Heart Attack.

The burger wasn't bad but the fries were awful. Frying them in real lard just doesn't have it.

Honestly, I'm pretty sure you can do better cheat meals elsewhere. Are you committed to downtown? Burger Bar at Mandalay Bay offers a grilled half lobster tail as a topping for a burger. A topping. I want that (although atop a turkey burger, I don't eat beef). Lobster-topped burger sure sounds like a cheat meal to me.

    Went there superbowl weekend

Me and my bro split a Quad burger. Lots of leftovers. Got some great pics in the hospital gowns

    It was a fun experience.

I still think that In and Out is the best burger of all the joints out there

I am gonna go on record as saying( and this may start a war, LOL !)...but this restaurant is comparable to BATISTTA'S to the virtually opposite viewpoints of the place.

My thoughts are this would be good for a cheat/free meal once. Once a day will be too much, offset your dieting efforts almost completely, and you'll find out on your first visit the food isn't worth that!

As others have said, it might be worth it for the experience, but once will probably be enough. I like boobs and breasturaunts WAY more than the average guy and even I thought once was enough. If I were in a guy trip, partying, and maybe drunk it might be fun to hit again, but when you take th place all in, it just seems to kinda hit the mark somehow. I'd take Twin Peaks (or heck even hooters) any day and twice in Sunday over Heart Attack Grill.

I've never been there, but one of the pool players I'm going with is at least 350 lbs. Do you get a free meal if you are overweight?

350 gets you a free meal. The scale is right outside.

The big scale with lights that go off if you are fat enough to get a free meal is inside. The number of people who drive their scooter over to it and get off to be weighed and get their free meal is kinda sad.

I wasn't posting from personal experience:poke: Although overweight, I'm around 130# from freebie meal status.

No offense intended. I've got my own spare tire and am working on a set. But I will readily make fun of someone who needs a scooter solely due to weight that avails themselves of a free meal here.

I didn't quite make the free meal but I'm not so far away from it. My husband on the other hand, is quite the opposite (think: THIN).

The food wasn't great, to be truthful, the burgers were kind of overcooked. In & Out beats them by a mile. However, you should go for the experience. It's lots of fun and if you don't finish your meal, you'll get paddled. Yes, we got paddled, and even bought a miniature paddle to take home. (Oh for decorative purposes only!)

I figured it would just be an overpriced gimmicky tourist place. It was gimmicky. But the burgers were good and not overpriced at all. I was actually surprised at the reasonable prices.

They did not have diet colas though. I prefer the taste of diet. When I ordered water instead they would only sell me a bottle of water. I did not like that. I said no, on principal, and told her if I choke to death it would be their fault. lol
