I'm sitting at a wedding right now in jersey. Super long drawn out ceremony. Some of us tried to go outside for a break and some air and came back in sweating just from the humidity. Vegas last week was easier.

Same here. I can handle heat, NOT humidity. Rather be in Vegas than home right now.

I don't like humidity, but I HATE the desert. Sure, I say I'd like less August and a couple more weeks of winter, but over the 15 years I've lived in NC, I've acclimated decently to the humidity here. My hair & skin love it (which I can't say when I lived in Utah or when I visit Vegas....) I was even able to spend several hours outside today. Gardening even:peace:

BTW - I was raised on the 4 Hs - Hazy, hot, humid & he!!ish :evillaugh (that's from parents born & raised in Illinois, where I was also born & lived a little)

    Earthquakes, mudslides & forest fires?

70s, 80s, and sunshine in the East Bay across from San Francisco. Nowhere is immune to acts of nature. We just get really big ones infrequently, as opposed a lot of small ones every year.

Chicago has been beautiful this summer, low 60's at night, mid-70s to low-80's during most days....cool breeze.
