    Hello,

I thought I saw it posted on myvegas, on facebook that if you buy chips you are allowed more than the three rewards in a 30 day period. Or did I misunderstand the post.

And of course, now I can't find the post. :(

Please advise if anyone knows this is true or not. I appreciate it.

    Kindly,
    K-9treatbaker

It used to be true but not anymore. It is still possible to do so BUT the amounts you have to buy are unknown so it's not worth putting in money for only a possibility to raise your reward limits.

Thank you cstutor89. I will not buy chips, since it is only a possibility.

    I appreciate the input.

Yes, they have some undisclosed calculation as to how much or how often you have to buy in order to get your limit raised. I personally would not purchase chips again.

I purchased $9/$19/$39/39 in a month's time and I also completed the following offers: Redbox Instant (free), Blockbuster by mail (I think was free, might have cost $5), GameFly (had to pay 1/2 of 1st month I think, it was $7) GoDaddy ($6), and one more I can't remember.

My limit was 6 and then it dropped to 4 in May when they made the change.

My husband only purchased $9. His limit was 4 and he was dropped to 3.

People will say it was stupid for me to spend that money on chips, but I look at it as I get 4 rewards in August and 4 rewards in October - not to mention trips next year. Plus I had some entertainment.

So basically, don't purchase chips to try to gain rewards since it may or may not happen. Maybe try to complete a couple of the free and/or very cheap offers. Maybe that factors in...

P.S. I ran out of chips the other day and joined the 14 day no-play challenge and went from 0 to 800,000 chips!

    Good luck!!! :)

This is the first I've heard of it....using common sense, I would guess that it means that you don't play any slots/BJ for two weeks, while collecting from your properties/daily free spin as frequently as possible, as well as chip share threads. Just a guess.

Okay, I am in on the 14 day no play challenge. It is one way to get lots of chips, I see.

Now, another question, I get the 4000 chips in my e-mail daily, but I have not clicked on the one I currently have, because I have read other post that the offer will go up, if I don't play for awhile.

Has anyone had luck with this?

    Thanks in advance,
    K-9treatbaker

Sorry just saw this. It was a "challenge" on MyVegasFriends on Facebook. Yes, it is to not play for 14 days and just collect from properties and do the daily spin, and emails.

However, they just recently said that you are only allowed to earn 2,000 LPs in a single 24 hour period from playing (not including those you get from properties or leveling up). That seriously changes my wanting to play incessantly on double XP days.

So if I need something for 2 but it's only for 1, I can buy one amd then when that is complete I can buy another or do you have to wait so long? Wish more of the resturant stuff was for 2.

    da1chifan,

Well, I managed to not click on the first 4000 chips reward in my e-mail, and the second day another 4000 chip reward came through, so I did click on each one, and got both of them. So, this not clicking on the rewards in your e-mail must work. I just had to test it. LOL

So, now, I am just complining chips through the daily spin/properties etc. and will see what happens. I won't play for several days and hopefully I can get some serious chips.

My dialy spin lately has been a joke. It hasn't landed on anything higher than 1200 for a long time now. LOL Oh well, something is better than nothing, I guess. :)

Thanks for all of the info, I appreciate it.

Put it on the highest amount before you spin.
