I feel like an idiot for asking this question, but oh well. DH and I are going in August. Will it be unbearably hot on the patio for dinner? I know the weather will be hot, but I'm wondering if they have anything to cool things off. Also, I'm from NC, so this super high heat with really low humidity is a foreign concept to me.

They have a mister type thing spraying out on the rail.

Was just there in June when temps were about 100 in the day. Once the sun drops behind the casinos, it was quite bearable on the patio. At 6:30 there was no wait to get out there.

Its not bad at all in my opinion. Its warm for sure, but if you are from the south, the evening warm will seem cooler than a hot muggy day there. Now, if its 118 like its been the past couple weeks, that might be a different story. :faint:

The one advantage to the warmer weather? Its much easier to get a patio seat, especially before its dark out. I say go for it!

breakfast is another option on the patio.

love sitting out there early watching the strip come to life for yet another day and morning is a bit cooler as well.

the bacon and egg breakfast is delicious and reasonably priced.

Agreed. I make it a point to eat breakfast there every time I'm in Vegas. It's relaxing, very pleasant & both the food and service are exceptional.

Thank you all so much for your suggestions! We'll probably try for dinner, but maybe also do breakfast. It depends on when we wake up and get going.

The Dry heat is REALLY different from the Humid heat you are used to. As long as it isn't CRAZY hot (like over 110) you will probably be reasonably comfortable on the patio. You won't be dripping with sweat like you do in humid heat, that alone makes it more pleasant. Of course, it will still be HOT, but you know it is going to be HOT. We are planning on sitting out on the patio for dinner in August, can't wait :)

    Not hot at all

We were in Vegas in early June where the temperature was well over 100 degrees. We considered how hot it might be while dining out on the patio (we were seated around 6:30 and finished our meal around 7:45), but didn't want it to be a deciding factor. With all the air conditioning the have being pumped out of the vents...it found its way out of the patio and kept us cool. Matter of fact, at some time we even found it to be a little chilly!
