I almost added with a view.... The fountains would be nice, but really I'm just looking for some experienced opinions. I have only been to Vegas once and it was for less than 24 hrs.. So really am a novice. My husband and I will be celebrating 10 years and we are both in our late 30's. any advice on anything is appreciated:)

with a view = Prime on the patio or next to the windows if it's too hot/cold outside.

Picasso at the Bellagio. Great atmosphere for a romantic dinner with great food. I recommend the degustation menu with wine pairings.

Le Cirque. Savoy and Robuchon are also world class, but to me do not beat the Le Cirque Degustation Menu.

Seconded. My favorite restaurant in Vegas, and the view is amazing. Whatever you do, make sure that you at least get a glass of the Tokaji that they pair with the foie gras course. It's unreal.

If you're a group of two (and only two) I vote Joel Robuchon. However, some of the romanticism that helps accentuate the food gets lost when you're with 5 or 6 other people all getting drunk on martinis.

Le' Cirque is definitely top 5, but Picasso never stood out as that exceptional to me. Will be trying Guy Savoy for the first time in less than a week!

With a view, hands down Eiffel Tower Restaurant at Paris. It's actually really good food too. Incredible place to check out in my opinion.. at least do it once! They have lunch now too if you want to do it a little more reasonably. That would be PERFECT anniversary spot.

Favorite other restaurants include Border Grill at Mandalay Bay, never had a bad meal there, I frequent the one in Vegas, and the ones in LA. Delicious modern mexican food.

Brunch or Breakfast at Bouchon at the Venetian is amazing. Great atmosphere, great food.

I feel like 95% of my trips I end up at Border Grill and Bouchon, and both are on my itinerary for this weekend :)

Still have not found my perfect steakhouse yet! I've had some great steaks, but nothing that blew me away (probably because I haven't been to Gordon Ramsey lol)

Been to many nice places in Vegas.

Best Value (for nice place) and service is Lawry's

Best Steakplace is probably SW Steakhouse at Wynn, just because of the atmosphere (lake of dreams). Also amazing steaks...chef is not scared to do a steak WELL done

Best Seafood , American Fish at Aria (he does salt and vinegar fries) or Bartollota at Wynn

There are so many great places...for myself it comes down to location.

SO many places at Bellagio are nice and Wynn.

Oh, new place at Wynn....Mizumi......I think it is called...very nice place.

why waste money at a top steakhouse when you can do that in your backyard for 1/10 the cost?

I'm so confused... I know that eating at chains is against the rules (cause you can do that anywhere), but now... not even steakhouses?

Thank heaven this thread finally is getting interesting. lol

Best? No idea. Robuchon doesn't exactly suck, however.
