The only siggestion I have is to call when it gets closer and make sure that both reservations and conf numbers are still in the computer. The last time I tried to book back to back comps with MGM the phone rep let me do it, didn't indicate a problem and then the reservation disappeared. Took some doing to figure out what happened but the second one was canceled due to their no consecutive offers with same or sister properties policy. But previously I'd never had a problem with that. If the offers were truly individual between you and your wife then it should be fine though. Just make sure its still in the computer before you go.

I think you should be fine as long as your accounts are not linked together or use the same card.

my wife and I have linked accounts and she doesn't gamble at all, she just uses it for shopping discounts. but sometimes she gets offers for vouchers and things and we use them both. so you're fine booking both offers regardless of the fact that they're linked.
