We are planning a trip in September, from the 12-16 and the VIP phone lines are closed for a couple of more hours so I started playing with the MB/THEhotel website. I am seeing weekend prices for a room higher than I've seen except for NYE/Super bowl etc...?????

What am I in for that weekend?

I did a little searching and I don't see anything that sticks out other than Iron Maiden (got tickets for my 50th birthday!!!!) but it must be a sell out type of weekend.

Which is going to make it very expensive and crazy at the end of the strip you're looking at.

We were going to go that week too and changed to the following week, arriving Sunday the 15th when all that crowd should be on their way out of town.

I'll see you there! Maiden coming back to the US for a handful of dates is the reason behind my Sept 8-14 trip :)

The VenAzzo has some pretty good rates that weekend. Check it out.

I'm right there right through to Sept 17th, for Maiden/Megadeth of course. It's my dream concert seeing these two on the same bill.

Mayweather fight is Sept. 14. Hotels prices on Fri-Sun will be higher than most times. Look at the rooms for MGM. A regular king room (not the newly renovated rooms) is $400+ for these days.

I will be out there for the fight. Thankfully, my room is comped.
