What is the longest time you have gone without a return trip to Vegas?
Heading out in September and will be first time since 2004. Can't wait to see the changes since then.

A year and a half was the longest for me. I missed 1989 entirely.

A little over 2.5 years for me. Otherwise I usually go a couple times a year.

Let's see...first trip in April of 09, then October 09, then.. **remembering dates, counting, removing shoes, using toes...**

So my final answer is: It was maybe about 10 months, and that happened twice: October of '09 until June or July of '10; then again from October of '10 until July of '11.

But my trip next month is probably my last for a while. I probably won't be back for another year, unless someone kidnaps me and drags me to town. Darn work and education....

Several years back I'd have said "several weeks." While it has been a few years now for a dedicated Vegas trip, I still get to town one a year, and in August it will be for several days so I consider that a Vegas trip. Hell, I think I've been to New Zealand since my last "real" Vegas getaway, and I know I've been to Canada a couple times and Hawaii at least five times. lol Obviously my priorities are all screwed up.

I wasn’t completely thrilled with Vegas my first time – probably because I was a poor college kid and sites like VMB didn’t exist (Al Gore had only invented the interweb a few years prior). So, it took me four and a half years to return – and only because I had to be there on business. By contrast, I’ve made 22 trips to Vegas in the past four and a half years.

I was a regular (5 times in 4 years) with my parents and then my newlywed bride until 1983. Then we did the ole, save, buy a house and have 4 kids thing and didn't return for 24 years for our silver anniversary. Since then, I think 6 months is the longest we've gone.

I think the longest has been about 2 or 2 1/2 years. First trip was around 1997, and we went about once every year and half to 2 years for a while. Then we had a really bad beat down gambling wise, plus my parents moved to Key West and we made more trips there. Once we went back after 2.5 years, we started going once a year, then twice, and now this upcoming trip will be our 4th in the past 12 months. I doubt we will keep up that pace, but we'll see.

Shame on me, seems I have the longest time between trips. Looking forward to Sept. not only for Vegas but my oldest son lives there and will be getting married. Should be a great trip all around.

Just booked my wife's birthday for February. So that means Vegas in Oct, Dec & Feb. Boy oh boy are airfares climbing on SWA. I paid with a combination of credits and points, but otherwise RT from Milwaukee was over $700 each for Feb.

Even though we are traveling to Seattle, Maine & Tampa, October seems like a long way off. I already feel like I need a Vegas fix!

I have been to Vegas once a year since 1986.
    Last trip was November 2012.
However this may be the 1st year not going.
I was laid off in July 2012 after woking close to 30 years with same company.
Vacation is not a priority right now.

I had just started the routine of going once a year and then that got derailed. I had a 6 year stretch with no Vegas.

I went to Vegas when I was young and divorced - 2 trips in the early 70's.

Then I got custody of the kids in '77

Didn't get back until the late 90's - curse those kids!

Shame on you Ken for picking on Joe!!!
