First time on a message board

Hello,

I happened on this message board through Vegas Chatter and it's great. I have been to Las Vegas about four times now. I am thrilled to find this very informative post! Planning another trip with my boyfriend in end of August and having trouble deciding where to stay. We love Caesars Palace but it's gotten so expensive and the resort fees make it so much more. Hopefully I can learn from this message board and plan a good vacation. Vegas has always been so special to me because it's the first trip I took with my boyfriend and the first trip together since he came back from deployment with the military.

Just how expense is the trip?
You may want to check out the section on the board for hotels as you may be able to stay at PH or another property for cheaper.

Thanks for the tip on the links for discounted rooms. We've stayed at the Augustus Tower at Caesar's Palace most of the time. But they used to have great discounts and deals on those rooms. Now they seemed to have disappeared. I'm inclined to go with Venetian or Palazzo just because you can waive resort fee (my passive-aggressive way of protest, lol). We love staying on the Strip for convenience. I love the over-the-top kitschy aspect of Las Vegas which is why we usually stay at Caesars.
