Sent us offer that if we lose $100 in july we'd get it back. Only thing is it's 5% a week over 20 weeks.

Wife received a mailer last month with a free room offer, Sunday-Thursday night and another mailer yesterday saying "everybody deserves a second chance....we made mistakes in the past and want to make up for it.....we want gamblers". They will refund losses up to $500 over 20 weeks plus they have opened up smoking areas in the previously non-smoking casino. At $2.4 billion, it is the most costly casino in AC to construct yet they are still at the bottom when it comes to revenue. I think even below that of the Atlantic Club that was going to be sold to Poker Stars for a mere $15 million.

I guess bankruptcy has a humbling effect on the old business model.

I got the same mailer, but was able to score weekend comp rooms in a few weeks--unheard of for me for mid-summer. I also liked that they're going to honor slot cash offers from other casinos. I think these are both great indications that they're getting their act together, though I agree that the rebate is a joke unless you're a local.
